00:00The defensive side, you guys are, of course, 21 turnovers.
00:04Coach mentioned that throughout the night,
00:06kind of like the last five minutes,
00:07you've been really on the bar.
00:09Just what was the focus coming into tonight?
00:11What do you guys are planning to do?
00:12I mean, coming into tonight, you know,
00:16I think that they're a really good team at the rim.
00:18So, you know, that's the main thing
00:20we're trying to take away from that.
00:21You know, and then obviously being just active on defense,
00:24being able to just keep on building on our habits
00:29every time, you know, we go out there and play.
00:31That was kind of just the focus.
00:33I don't think we did anything out of the ordinary.
00:34Just, you know, just building on our habits.
00:36And then down there at the final stretch,
00:38obviously, they went on a run there to close the game.
00:41What are some of the biggest takeaways from those sort of moments?
00:44I mean, you know, you've got a lot of anti-aggressive control.
00:45What can you kind of learn from this situation?
00:47Yeah, I mean, I think we gave them too many second chances.
00:50They scored maybe six or eight points off second chances.
00:56And then, you know, just be a solid.
00:58You know, I fouled Carter on a jump shot at the end of a buzzer.
01:03And just, you know, just being more solid.
01:06You know, I think that sometimes we try to do too much.
01:09I mean, personally speaking in that situation,
01:11like, you know, you got to be solid, trust your habits.
01:14And, you know, yeah, I think that's probably the biggest thing for us.
01:20I said, you know, when guys are having tough shooting nights,
01:24it seems like you all, you know, still will be together,
01:28trusting with the guys.
01:28What do you think about the team to just, you know,
01:32allow that together instead of a shot group,
01:34even if it's kind of reverse?
01:37Yeah, I mean, you know, everybody goes through bad shooting nights,
01:41you know, but I think the thing that kind of keeps everybody together
01:45is just knowing the amount of work everybody puts in
01:47and the amount of success we've had this year.
01:50You know, we have a lot of guys on this team that can shoot.
01:54I believe in everybody on this team to, you know, step in,
01:56knock down threes, knock down free throws.
01:58So, you know, just that's just part of being a basketball player.
02:02You know, you're going to have some bad slumps
02:04and some really high, you know, mountains when it comes to shooting.
02:09Dan, now that you're rostered,
02:11basically in such a distinct shape now,
02:14do you sort of, like, learn something
02:16that's helpful for you guys more offensively
02:18when you know someone's got a great shot
02:21and you know someone's got a great shot?
02:24Yeah, for sure.
02:25It's definitely a different dynamic to the game.
02:27You know, we were running a lot more sets than usual tonight.
02:32And it's obviously something that we're not used to,
02:34you know, not having Shea or Giddy out there, especially.
02:38So, you know, I think I think it's a good challenge for us,
02:40you know, for the nine guys to get out there right now.
02:43I think it's a great challenge and a great opportunity
02:45to go out there and compete.
02:46And I think we did a pretty good job of that tonight.
02:49Do you feel like, in the end,
02:50it just kind of came down to you guys
02:51just not making shots in the game?
02:55Yeah, yeah.
02:56I mean, they did a better job of finishing out the game than we did.
03:01Like I said, you know, they they they crashed the glass really hard
03:05at the end, and we didn't do a good job of, you know,
03:08keeping them off the boards.
03:09And then they made some big shots.
03:12Thanks, Isaiah.
03:13Thanks, guys.
