00:00 Yeah.
00:01 McAlee Casey Thunder dot com. Mark, what wasn't quite there for you to start
00:07 that third quarter? I think they kind of jumped out on you there. Uh,
00:11 combination of things like usual when there's a run in the game. Uh, they
00:15 made some. We didn't, um, obviously didn't get very good traction and
00:20 didn't have great energy there. Thought there were strengths in the game where
00:23 we had that and played pretty well. But, um, you know, that starts the game
00:27 obviously was the difference for Jalen to have the night that he had tonight
00:31 given late kind of last minute ish call up and just your thoughts on that
00:36 professionalism big time, you know, and we needed the minutes tonight,
00:40 obviously, with where we're at. Um, and I just appreciate his competitiveness
00:43 always have. I mean, that's the one thing that's been a constant about him
00:47 from the day he's walked in our gym as he competes. You know, he comes ready
00:50 to play every night. He comes ready to work every day. Uh, high level of
00:54 professionalism. And when you have that kind of habit, um, it's not surprising
00:58 that you put him in obviously a tough situation where he's just walking in
01:01 the door and playing those types of minutes. Um, not surprising that he
01:05 performed the way he did.
01:06 Paris Lawson, okay, see that dot com tail stepped into another big night
01:10 tonight. Four out of five games from scoring over 20 points. Just what are
01:13 you seeing from him over this last kind of stretch of games offensively? Yeah,
01:16 confidence, aggressiveness. Um, you know, I think he's, um, a guy that
01:21 obviously we've talked about before where he kind of plays safe at times,
01:24 um, and steady. And that's a good thing. You know, if he was overaggressive,
01:28 we'd be trying to get him to be more steady. But, um, you gotta uncover some
01:32 upside in your game. And for him, it's speed and transition. It's taking open
01:36 shots when he's there. Um, and I think the extended minutes and the role that
01:41 he's playing right now is kind of giving the breathing room to do that
01:44 and hopefully giving him some good momentum as we head into the summer.
01:47 Iron Pat and Fox in Oklahoma City. But you got so your numbers are down and
01:51 you're you're having to play some guys deep in your bench. Are you or you want
01:54 them to do more? See how much they can stretch their game or just to be who
01:58 they are. You They are, you know, I think, um, you know, we talk about
02:02 this time of year, um, being about relevance, you know, and you can it's
02:07 about having a predictable style of play. Just like teams have identities.
02:11 You want individual players to have a style of play and an identity and play
02:15 to that, whether they play five possessions or whether they play 40
02:18 minutes. And, um, you know, if you do that as a team, you know, that'll be
02:23 enough. But, um, that's, you know, our philosophy on developing these guys
02:27 try to do it in context. Mark, you talked about tails mindset being
02:32 transferable. Like, what are some of the actual skills that you've seen him
02:36 progress over these last few weeks and that will be transferable just beyond
02:41 what you can see from the box score. Um, I think, you know, he
02:45 I think showed a lot of it last year to, you know, he's definitely stronger.
02:49 He's definitely more confident. The game slowed down for him since last
02:52 year, but, um, he's shown these flashes offensively of aggressiveness. I think
02:57 the more he shoots it with confidence off the catch, um, the more playable he
03:01 is with multiple handlers out there, which obviously is relevant for us as
03:05 we, you know, as some of the guys that are hurt, get back in the fold at some
03:09 point. Um, and then defensively, he's got to be a point of attack defender
03:13 with being a point guard. Uh, and he's done a nice job of that in some of
03:16 these games. So, um, those are the two things, to be honest with you. Is there
03:20 concern about Jeremiah re injuring his foot or is that being overcautious,
03:25 overcautious, you know, a little bit of soreness and, you know, anytime he just
03:29 did what seven weeks, you know, so like the seven weeks only was 10 minutes
03:34 into the game feels a little sore. Um, we're just not gonna play with fire on
03:39 that one. But it was definitely there's nothing he could have continued to
03:42 play. He wasn't even ruled out, but we were definitely over aggressive with
03:45 our caution there.
03:46 Thank you.
03:50 Thank you.
