00:00 under dot com. Aaron, it seemed like the defense obviously played a really big
00:03 factor for you guys after they were able to get some momentum there in the
00:06 first quarter. What were you guys able to get to to kind of start getting
00:09 things going for you? Yeah, I thought in the first half we were just a little
00:12 careless with turnovers and just trying to kind of get settled in. But um, you
00:16 know, defensively, I thought we did a really good job just kind of playing
00:19 to our game plan. Um, you know, closing out on shooters, knowing personnel
00:22 being in the right spot with their big inside the paint. And I mean, I thought
00:26 we just really did a good job, especially after we got settled in.
00:29 How much did the hustle plays play a factor in tonight's game between the
00:33 offensive rebounds, getting those that loose change the 50 50 balls tonight?
00:37 Yeah, I mean, we got a lot of really good looks just off of transition
00:40 steals, rebounds and, you know, just playing hard offensively. Like you said,
00:45 the second chance points, uh, you know, getting those rebounds and getting
00:48 extra looks gave us a lot of, um, you know, confidence as we were able to
00:51 kind of get going and get into a groove.
00:53 Aaron, uh, Poku had a triple double tonight. Just what you see from him,
00:58 uh, just generally and how he stepped in and ran the offense. Yeah, I mean,
01:01 recently he's been playing super well. Um, he's, you know, really played an
01:05 all around game kind of just, you know, almost playing like a point guard. So,
01:09 uh, you know, his ability to kind of, you know, mix it up, do it all and play
01:13 the right way is huge and super happy for him. Is that his first triple double?
01:16 Yeah, I mean, congrats to him. Super happy for him. And, uh, you know, I
01:20 thought he played really well after we got settled in and the team just kind
01:23 of, you know, got into a flow. He kind of helped lead that and, you know,
01:26 just just playing his game. So
01:29 you were part of the crew that poured water all over him afterwards. Whose
01:32 idea was that? Uh, it wasn't like one person's idea. I don't think I think
01:36 collectively we were as they were walking off the court. We kind of like
01:39 congratulating him. And then, like, I saw Bays and Shea go over to grab water
01:43 and I was like, give me one. Like, yeah, for sure. So, uh, yeah, I mean,
01:46 super happy for him. And then, um, how about Olivier just continuing to show a
01:52 little bit more and a little bit more of what you can do? It seems like each
01:54 game we're kind of he's expanding a little bit. Yeah, I think he's kind of
01:57 settling in, getting a little comfortable. Um, you know, I think he
02:01 got into a rhythm. It was one time he caught the ball in the mid post and he
02:04 just went straight up into a jump shot and he made it. And I'm thinking he
02:07 didn't even jab that time. Normally, he like takes his time, kind of feels it
02:09 out. But I think he got into a rhythm. He's kind of getting comfortable and I
02:12 mean, he looks really good, so I'm glad he's playing well. And then, um, you've
02:16 known Jalen not as long as as Teo and Olivier have, but you did know him
02:20 before you guys even went to college. Just your thoughts on this is twice now
02:24 this season that he's gotten a call semi last minute and hopped on a flight
02:29 and got here and performed. Yeah, I mean, it's really a crazy story. I
02:32 know that because coming out of high school, we were teammates for two years
02:36 and we had talked about going to college together and it was just like,
02:38 Yo, what if we went to college together? And then, like, we ended up playing on
02:41 the same team in the NBA, too. And like for us, like we didn't go to college
02:45 together, obviously. And like we got here at different times, but for us to
02:48 be on the same team on kind of, you know, just cross paths like this and
02:52 our careers is super awesome. It's really cool. And, you know, I'm super
02:55 grateful to kind of, you know, just be able to continue to have that
02:57 relationship with him and play with him. So
02:59 Aaron Phoenix was missing some key guys, but you guys were missing key guys as
03:03 well. They're probably a team that may win it all in June. How much pride you
03:07 guys taking this win tonight as a team as a whole? Yeah, I mean, like you said,
03:10 there are a lot of guys sitting out, but I mean, that's that's a really good
03:13 team. You know, they have all the pieces and they definitely are
03:16 contenders for, you know, to win it all in June. But, um, I mean, for us, just
03:20 kind of getting better is something that we pride ourselves in. And I
03:23 thought tonight we kind of showed that, you know, when we play team ball, when
03:27 we play the right way, when we're making the hustle plays, when we're,
03:29 you know, locked in on our game plan, you know, we can compete with anybody.
03:32 So I thought we did a really good job just kind of competing and giving
03:35 ourselves a chance. And we took advantage of that.
03:37 Thank you.
03:41 Thank you.
