00:00Thunder fans, we made it.
00:01This is the last Oklahoma City Thunder practice of the season.
00:05Jeremiah Robinson Earl came in to talk to us today, and
00:08he was getting a little bit in his feelings.
00:10Take a look.
00:11I was shocked, I'm like, yeah, this is our last practice at home.
00:14So it's just crazy how fast this first season has flown by, and
00:19just kind of all the memories and ebbs and flows of everything that's going on.
00:24And it's just soaking that in, so just being more prepared for
00:28next season, knowing what to expect, and just really being able to attack it even
00:31more than this year after we got our feet wet, so I think it'll be good.
00:35Last night, another Thunder player went off in their win against the Phoenix Suns,
00:39and it was Oleski Pokaszewski using his length to his advantage.
00:43He recorded a triple double,
00:45which makes him the 12th youngest player to do so in the NBA.
00:49He recorded 10 rebounds, 12 assists, and 17 points, doing a little bit of everything.
00:56And the players were really excited about this after the game.
00:59They all showered him with water, had a great group moment, and
01:02here's Jeremiah Robinson Earle's perspective on that moment from last night.
01:06It's definitely awesome, especially we're just such a young team,
01:09just being able to see guys have great accomplishments like that,
01:14being able to get a triple double like that, and just having a fun group out there.
01:18It's a long season, it didn't necessarily go the way we wanted it from a winning
01:22perspective, but we're a team that really wants to learn and just compete and
01:26get better, so it's really exciting for these next upcoming years.
01:30It's gonna be a really special group coming in tonight.
01:33The Thunder will play once again tomorrow night in Paycom Center, and
01:37this will be their last home game of the season.
01:40Head coach Mark Dymelt, as well as Jeremiah Robinson Earle,
01:43gave a few thoughts as to it being their last home game.
01:46It goes by fast, I mean, that's certainly one thing that stands out.
01:49Coming off of last year,
01:53it's amazing to think that the COVID year was just last season.
01:58But it feels so different in there, having the fans back and having that environment.
02:03And obviously, we're towards the bottom of the standings cuz of where we're at
02:09in our cycle, but I don't think that's impacted our fans' engagement, optimism,
02:14enthusiasm, we felt that every which direction, including at the home games.
02:19And so we're certainly grateful for them being in this with us and
02:24helping us build this with them.
02:26And so excited to go out there one more time tomorrow.
02:29And certainly, they're leaving a great taste in our mouths in terms of being
02:33really excited as we head into next season.
02:35Yeah, I mean, it'll be good.
02:37It's just having the Thunder fans come out to all these games and
02:41just being able to stick with us even through the downfalls at times.
02:46And when we have games we're winning, but just being out there and
02:49just being able to compete for this city is a lot of fun.
02:52And with that, Thunder fans, that concludes your last Thunder practice report
02:56of this season.
02:58I'm Christine Butterfield reporting for SI Thunder.
