Mitsubishi was never out of the running in the local truck wars, but with newer models coming in, it was inevitable that the Strada would start to lose its hold in the segment. Things are set to change, however, as the all-new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is set to enter the market.
The next-gen Triton is ready to shake up the midsize-pickup class, as it arrives with bold new styling, a powerful engine, and a wide arsenal of tech. It comes equipped with a 2.4-liter twin-turbo MIVEC diesel engine in the top-of-the-line trim, and this powertrain churns out a healthy 201hp and 470Nm of torque. This can be mated to either a manual or automatic transmission, and can be spec’d with Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD II system.
