00:03 Slide number two, stretch the bridge.
00:27 Everyone say, stretch the bridge.
00:29 Say, stretch the bridge.
00:33 Slide number three.
00:36 Slide number three.
00:39 We are stepping into a dispensation of jubilee
00:42 and a dispensation of harvest and abundance, restoration,
00:47 and transformed grace.
00:51 So where I have this declaration, I, Tudor Bismarck,
00:54 you're going to put your name there on the count of three.
00:58 One, two, three.
01:00 I, Tudor John Petit Bismarck, legally and legitimately
01:05 receive the grace reserved for me
01:09 and that which has rightfully been put aside and assigned
01:13 to my life.
01:15 Also, that which has been transferred by impartation
01:19 and released by promise.
01:24 Let's say that declaration again.
01:27 I, Tudor John Petit Bismarck, legally and legitimately
01:32 receive the grace reserved for me
01:36 and that which has rightfully been put aside and assigned
01:40 to my life.
01:42 Also, that which has been transferred by impartation
01:47 and released by promises.
01:51 Please take that declaration seriously.
01:55 I put that together at 4 in the morning on my birthday
01:59 because there's grace given to everyone.
02:04 And then there's grace that's promised.
02:09 And we now receive that grace.
02:11 I receive grace.
02:14 Slide four.
02:14 One cannot completely exist or function
02:21 on another level or another playing field
02:26 with previous level experiences and tools.
02:32 The core of that statement is based
02:35 on Einstein, who said level two problems cannot be solved
02:43 with level one solutions.
02:46 New levels require new solutions.
02:50 Therefore, it is needful to stretch everything in order
02:58 to competently exist.
03:00 I'm looking at a lot of zombies right now
03:09 because you have refused to stretch
03:12 your life in the next level.
03:16 And when you refuse to do that, you're nothing but a zombie.
03:19 I saw an Indian guy in some video
03:26 who is the Indian Michael Jackson, which is weird.
03:33 Why can't he be an Indian himself?
03:35 And so we are so good at imitation and duplication.
03:43 But common, we definitely are going
03:44 to need individuals to stretch.
03:48 And grace help you in your stretch.
03:51 Slide five.
03:52 Therefore, to go from one place or sphere to another,
03:56 one would need to stretch a bridge
04:00 across the place of habitation, function, and existence
04:06 to the next place.
04:08 So you need to stretch a bridge.
04:10 Say stretch a bridge.
04:13 In every manifestation, expression,
04:16 and accomplishment in life, the individual entity,
04:21 whatever it is, whether it's a business, a company, a family,
04:25 an individual, a goal, that individual entity
04:28 needs to stretch to get to the next level of evolved existence.
04:35 Therefore, individually, I am willing to stretch
04:41 and to do whatever it takes to attain and achieve
04:44 God's gifts, God's will, and God's promises for my life.
04:52 I have to be determined.
04:54 You have to be determined to function at that level.
04:58 Because you are born for such a time as this.
05:03 If you don't stretch to that level,
05:05 some person, some child, some sickness
05:09 is not going to be healed, child not going to be educated,
05:12 person's not going to be touched,
05:14 because you refuse to stretch.
05:19 Turn to your neighbor and say, you've got to stretch.
05:23 You've got to stretch.
05:26 Amen, you've got to stretch.
05:28 Can't have a baby without stretching.
05:29 Ask all those that use vitamin E oil.
05:37 Irene, we need to buy some vitamin E oil.
05:42 OK, so there are several ways to build a bridge.
05:47 Everyone say, stretch a bridge.
05:49 Say, stretch a bridge.
05:52 So there are several ways to build a bridge.
05:55 Physical bridge, of course, generally the engineers
05:58 will tell you triangle shapes are the best.
06:00 Look at the truss.
06:02 The truss is basically triangles.
06:04 And the reason for that, a modern engineer,
06:07 this is just domestic knowledge, is
06:09 because the weight is then constantly distributed.
06:14 It's constantly distributed.
06:15 It keeps on moving so that there's
06:18 no one particular point that bears the weight.
06:23 Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Spirit, Soul, Body, Faith,
06:30 Hope, Charity, yesterday, today, forever.
06:34 Each one carries in an equilateral manner
06:39 an equal amount of weight.
06:43 Because if you are the only weight-bearer in your family,
06:46 you are in serious trouble.
06:49 Turn to a family member and just look at them.
06:53 And then there's the spiritual bridge.
06:57 The way you build the spiritual bridge
06:59 is prayer, fasting, praise, worship, Bible reading,
07:04 meditation, communication with spiritual leaders,
07:07 Bible training, Bible school, reading books
07:11 of all kinds of expressions.
07:13 Don't just read books pertaining to Christianity.
07:17 Read other religious expressions.
07:19 Find out why suicide bombers do what they do.
07:24 It's all tied to a religious belief.
07:27 Find out why there are certain behaviors
07:30 within certain religious expressions.
07:32 It will then cause you, Frank, to appreciate the fact
07:38 that Jesus died for you.
07:39 And we'll get to that in a minute or two.
07:43 So materials used to build a bridge--
07:45 very obvious, concrete.
07:48 Once it's set, it's set.
07:51 Once it's still in liquid form, it can be transported.
07:58 But remember, before you pour concrete,
08:00 make sure you have a form in which it can be poured.
08:03 That's true of your entire life.
08:06 So you need steel, stone, asphalt, iron, timber, yada,
08:09 yada, yada.
08:10 The same is true for your life spiritually,
08:14 to build a spiritual bridge.
08:17 You need fundamentals in your life, what you believe.
08:22 You can't live and say, I don't know what I believe.
08:25 You have to know what you believe about yourself,
08:29 about your family, your culture, your nation, and so on
08:35 and so forth.
08:37 There are seven types of bridges that I've researched this week.
08:42 There's the arch bridge or the arc bridge, arch bridge, beam
08:46 bridge, the cantilever bridge, the suspension bridge,
08:51 the cable-stayed bridge, the tide bridge, and the truss
08:56 bridge.
08:58 Number 10, this is an arc bridge.
09:03 That's an arc bridge.
09:06 We won't spend time with the engineering,
09:09 because these are all individual lessons.
09:12 You can just Google it.
09:13 You'll find it there.
09:16 This is the beam bridge, built on beams or pillars.
09:23 Slide 12, this is the cable-stayed bridge,
09:30 a cable-stayed bridge.
09:32 Tower Bridge in London is a cable-stayed bridge.
09:37 And many tourists mistake Tower Bridge for London Bridge.
09:43 It's not London Bridge.
09:44 This is a cantilever bridge, very unique bridge.
09:54 It's found-- its best representation
09:57 is in Scotland.
10:01 This is a suspension bridge, the Brooklyn Bridge,
10:06 phenomenal bridge.
10:07 So many bridges go across the Hudson Bay,
10:11 joining the different boroughs in New York.
10:13 This is the most popular of all the bridges.
10:17 This is a truss bridge.
10:18 16, this is a tried or triad, tried arch bridge.
10:32 And this is in Stockton, California.
10:36 And this is the most famous bridge to us, Aunty Vicky.
10:43 I was quite stunned that this bridge was built in 1905.
10:48 Stunned when I was researching this.
10:50 I thought it was like in the '30s.
10:54 1905 and still looks great.
10:59 It doesn't know that we're using Bond notes.
11:05 Sorry, Tammy.
11:07 Don't tell your mom.
11:10 And so this bridge is an amazing, amazing engineering
11:15 and architectural feat designed by French guys,
11:18 and so on and so forth.
11:19 We won't get into the engineering.
11:22 So there are ways to build a bridge.
11:25 What can be a bridge?
11:33 Who can be a bridge?
11:35 How to build a bridge?
11:37 When to build a bridge?
11:38 And where to build a bridge?
11:40 So what can build a bridge?
11:47 What?
11:48 So needs.
11:50 If you have a need, there's a need for you to build a bridge.
11:53 I have a need.
11:56 I prayed for somebody who was struggling emotionally
11:59 because they lost their husband and can't
12:03 come to terms with it.
12:04 And so they need somebody to build a bridge
12:08 to move from intense grief to a place where they are managing
12:18 their grief, not forgetting, but being able to move on with life.
12:25 Because if you are in intense grief, which is understandable,
12:30 and you have small children, your children
12:33 are going to suffer because you're not dealing and moving
12:39 on with that grief.
12:42 And so you're going to need a bridge, a bridge,
12:47 to get you across.
12:48 Ask your neighbor, say, do you need a bridge?
12:52 Need a bridge.
12:55 Number two, tragedy.
12:59 My cousin died this week.
13:03 Well, he's like a brother.
13:05 He lived in our home.
13:07 Struggled for 15 years, really struggled.
13:10 Came from Mozambique as a little boy.
13:13 And had a very-- his siblings, they
13:15 had a very, very, very difficult life.
13:18 Very difficult life.
13:22 So she and I drove to Bulawea.
13:24 We went there for the day to pay our respects.
13:28 Tragedy then creates an opportunity.
13:32 Tragedy builds a bridge.
13:34 Desperation, compassion.
13:36 And so strategic path and guidelines and goals
13:41 with timelines help build a bridge.
13:45 They help build a bridge.
13:47 Turn to neighbor, say, you need a bridge.
13:51 Individual allies are bridge builders.
13:56 Liaisons, go-betweens.
13:58 Corporate allies can help you with building bridges.
14:05 Simon and Kavanka wrote a song.
14:10 Paul Simon basically wrote the lyric for this great song,
14:14 "A Bridge Over Troubled Water."
14:17 The waters are so troubled, you need
14:19 to be a bridge over that water.
14:20 I won't sing it.
14:24 I was going to, I don't have time.
14:28 Who can be a bridge?
14:30 So next week will be the anniversary
14:38 of when I started school in 1962.
14:42 I was five years old.
14:44 I was five years and five days old when I started school.
14:50 And I cried for days and months and months
14:54 because my parents left me there.
14:56 They were working on their ways.
14:57 I couldn't understand that.
14:59 But Mrs. Alfreds, who knew my parents, I didn't know she did,
15:04 had me on her lap.
15:05 I can remember Mrs. Alfreds looking after me.
15:10 And the kind of school we were in, because many of the kids
15:13 were welfare cases, welfare kids.
15:15 They used to give milk during the interval.
15:19 And I can't drink milk.
15:21 I couldn't drink milk.
15:22 And I used to get smacked because I
15:23 refused to drink the milk.
15:26 I remember that.
15:28 But Mrs. Alfreds was a bridge.
15:32 She carried me across.
15:34 So I repeated grade one because I didn't do well.
15:38 I then repeated grade five, which was standard one.
15:43 And then when I went to Embargo, I
15:44 repeated grade seven, which was standard five.
15:49 So in my life, I've repeated three times.
15:52 And I was always told I was stupid and ignorant.
16:00 But the people that have helped me, Sister Stella Mackey,
16:03 helped me and said, you shouldn't
16:05 be repeating standard five.
16:08 You should be in form one.
16:09 And she said, you are such an intelligent young boy.
16:14 I was looking around me to think,
16:16 what was she talking about?
16:18 And from that day, with a bridge over troubled water,
16:24 I've done extremely well.
16:26 Because here, a family is a bridge.
16:33 And so our families need to work together, stay together,
16:36 function together.
16:37 If you fight, make sure there's no blood.
16:43 The Bible says, "If you fight, there's no blood."
16:46 The Bible is a bridge.
16:48 Read it.
16:49 Turn to the person sleeping next to you and say, read it.
16:54 Jesus is a bridge, as Tenacious so ably put.
16:58 Your spiritual leaders, those that prayed with you
17:00 and for you, they are a spiritual bridge.
17:03 So how do you build a bridge?
17:04 Number one, ask questions.
17:08 Go back to being-- is it four or five where they ask why?
17:14 Yeah, why?
17:16 Why?
17:17 Why?
17:18 Ask questions.
17:21 Ask questions.
17:22 Some wise person somewhere will provide an answer.
17:26 Gather skilled individuals around you.
17:29 If you are blind, a one-eyed man in your village is king.
17:33 Gather materials, whatever necessary materials
17:45 they are, gather those.
17:48 Because you're going to need to start building that bridge
17:50 to get out.
17:51 There are individuals whose parents and families,
17:58 there's divorce, divorce, divorce for generations.
18:02 And now it's bothering your family.
18:05 Enroll in a marriage counseling class.
18:11 Lawrence, my brother-in-law, shared something
18:13 with Cheech and I when they were with us last week
18:17 and said we have a really great marriage, and they do.
18:21 And said they knew that to continue
18:26 with a great marriage is to go for marriage training
18:29 and marriage counseling.
18:31 Because if you go for that when your marriage is messed up,
18:36 it's very difficult to get out.
18:39 So in other words, you build a bridge when you're healthy.
18:42 Fire that coach, Stan.
18:52 Fire him.
18:53 Begin with significant foundational thoughts,
18:59 structures, foundational.
19:02 Sandy, begin.
19:04 Begin.
19:05 Prayed for a person on the phone last night
19:07 who's struggling with their health at a very young age.
19:11 And my prayer was projectional.
19:14 It was prophetic.
19:16 It was think about the future.
19:18 Just getting married, I said think
19:20 about your children's wedding.
19:23 They don't even know they can have children,
19:24 but think about your children's wedding.
19:27 In other words, get foundational thoughts
19:29 and start building that bridge.
19:36 Exercise faith and believe.
19:38 We had a horrible, horrible coup.
19:44 I believe it was in 2020 when James Akim, Dr. Akim,
19:52 Dr. Danzo's very good friend, passed away.
19:57 He was leading the HIV research in Southern Africa,
20:05 in this country.
20:06 He was a cardiologist.
20:09 I'd seen him almost every year when
20:11 I'd go for my fitness test for my health.
20:16 And out of the blue, the man got COVID,
20:18 and suddenly, of all the people, he
20:22 started to hemorrhage in his brain and passed away.
20:25 And so this man was in South Sudan
20:28 as a little boy from grade seven.
20:31 He walked from South Sudan.
20:33 He walked by foot, of course, to Kenya
20:37 and came to a Catholic school to go to high school.
20:42 And they told him there's no admission.
20:46 The Form 1 classes are full.
20:48 With nowhere to go, he sat by the gates.
20:51 He told me the story.
20:52 He sat by the gate for three days.
20:54 They eventually brought him something to eat and said,
20:56 let's just get rid of this kid.
20:58 Let him do the grade seven exam and see if he'll pass.
21:02 He scored higher than all those that had been
21:04 in that class in grade seven and entered the school,
21:08 passed with flying colors, became a medical doctor,
21:12 one of the best ever on this continent.
21:15 And so how can a man walk all that way,
21:20 go through all that to come and die in 2020?
21:24 It doesn't make sense.
21:27 It doesn't make sense to me anyway.
21:30 And so you have to exercise faith and believe.
21:34 That's why you have to do now what you have to do.
21:37 Do it today.
21:38 Don't make it tomorrow.
21:40 Make the cake now.
21:42 Go home and make the cake.
21:43 Hallelujah.
21:44 Do it now.
21:50 Don't you never say do it now.
21:52 Russell, read the book now.
21:55 Enroll in school now.
21:57 Start the business now.
21:59 Buy the car now.
22:00 Don't get into square that.
22:01 Buy the house now.
22:03 You don't have money, but buy it now by faith.
22:06 Because when you step in, favor comes.
22:08 You got to stretch the bridge.
22:10 Some of you are not brave.
22:15 You'll be renting for the next 25 years.
22:17 You are not renting.
22:24 Go to the owner and say, I've been in your house for eight
22:26 years.
22:27 Please sell me this house.
22:28 I can pay you over the next 10 years.
22:30 Here's a deposit.
22:32 Not my words.
22:33 Here's real money.
22:34 Yeah.
22:36 Put it in ones.
22:38 Clean ones.
22:40 Clean ones.
22:41 That smell of money, it just intoxicates.
22:47 Give a reference.
22:49 Judah Bismarck is my reference.
22:51 Diana Velakis is a reference.
22:56 Zef Shamba, Chakawa, Zef whoever.
22:59 I don't want to cause people to come running to you and say,
23:02 please be my reference.
23:04 Amen.
23:05 Ishmael Rahman there is my reference.
23:07 And then they'll phone.
23:11 We'll say, no, Sharon's a good person.
23:13 We can-- you can help her.
23:15 But you have to exercise faith.
23:17 Amen.
23:17 I was looking for a reference.
23:19 I'll be your reference.
23:21 But you better have money and cars, my girl.
23:24 When to build a bridge.
23:26 You build a bridge when crisis and tragedies occur.
23:30 If you're in trouble, seek help.
23:31 Don't keep the trouble to yourself.
23:33 Build a bridge.
23:34 Don't be proud.
23:35 You're in trouble.
23:36 You're in trouble.
23:39 You're in trouble.
23:40 You're in trouble.
23:40 Don't let them take your house when it's too late.
23:45 When you're in trouble, come early.
23:48 Number two, when people are in crisis, a whole family,
23:56 when a family's in crisis.
23:58 Number two, three, when there is conflict
24:05 and you are able to provide guidelines
24:07 to assist if there's a crisis and you are the one that
24:12 can provide guidelines, don't say, ah, [INAUDIBLE]
24:16 No, help them.
24:18 Because the sickest person in the world
24:20 is you are as sick as them.
24:23 Help the person next door to you.
24:25 If their grass is not cut, offer your lawnmower for a price.
24:33 Don't cut their grass for free.
24:36 Say, I'll cut your grass.
24:37 I'll get somebody to cut your grass for $15.
24:40 Because if you do something with somebody for free,
24:42 next week their grass will be long again
24:44 and be looking at you, hey.
24:48 The third time, just buy them a goat
24:49 and let the goat cut the grass for them.
24:51 Put a leash-- Ellison, that's a joke, professor.
24:56 That's a joke.
24:57 Amen.
24:58 You know the doctors, they don't know when to look.
25:02 Build a bridge when business opportunities come.
25:04 If there's a $5 million opportunity,
25:13 you may not have the cash, maybe not the capital
25:15 to put down for that.
25:17 Build a bridge.
25:18 Start now with relationships.
25:21 Show yourself friendly.
25:23 Get to know certain individuals.
25:26 If you were a young man like Russell, talk to Zef.
25:29 Say, Professor Zef, you know you've been in business for years.
25:31 I'm struggling.
25:32 I'm trying.
25:33 My car's falling apart.
25:35 You know, it's supposed to have five wheel--
25:40 wash your balls there.
25:43 But I'm so broke I had to sell five.
25:45 So I took one, one, one, one, one.
25:47 So my cars are running on a half a leg.
25:49 Please, can you help me?
25:52 So you get mentoring.
25:54 You're building a bridge for where you're going.
25:57 A bridge is made out of triangles of mentors
26:00 that helped you along the way.
26:02 For this space, someone helped you here.
26:04 You play keyboards well, but you're stuck.
26:07 You can't play without transposing.
26:09 Let me help you out to play without transposing.
26:11 Are you a transposer?
26:13 Are you a transposer?
26:14 Yeah, I didn't think so, but you look like one.
26:16 Stretch.
26:23 Where to build a bridge?
26:25 Where to build a bridge?
26:26 Where there are opposing views, that's where you build a bridge.
26:32 Teacher, I don't see eye to eye.
26:34 I've always been taller than her.
26:35 I'm 5'7 and 1/2.
26:36 She's 5 foot.
26:38 She's always look up to me.
26:40 She's the truth.
26:46 And so where there are different and conflicting ideas,
26:50 and if they become vehement, Bible word,
26:54 which means spiced with anger and kukuru kukurus,
27:02 you need a bridge.
27:05 Because if you both are trying to get across from Zimbabwe
27:09 to Zambia, if you are trying to get across from Zimbabwe
27:16 to Zambia, you need that bridge.
27:20 You need that bridge, or else you'll be running
27:22 across the Zambezi River.
27:25 There's crocs.
27:26 It's treacherous.
27:27 The currents, da, da, da.
27:29 There was a hippo there called Sebastian
27:32 that would love attacking tourists.
27:35 And there's boozers there on the booze cruise.
27:37 I did not partake.
27:42 I was on it.
27:42 Where there are chasms which are impossible--
27:49 and I was reading up on this this week--
27:52 the kinds of bridges built over chasms,
27:54 where there are physical impossibilities,
27:59 you're going to need a bridge.
28:02 The Chichis folks, the Lahakis, their grandfather
28:08 was the one that had the ferry in Chirundu from Zimbabwe
28:13 before they built the bridge to Zambia.
28:16 He was ferrying vehicles and items across the river.
28:20 So if you go to Chirundu and you throw a stone there,
28:23 the stone will land on a valakis.
28:26 Because the valakis are everywhere.
28:27 Valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis,
28:31 valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis, valakis.
28:33 They are everywhere.
28:34 He had 25 kids.
28:35 The valakis are everywhere.
28:39 Many, many kilometers on the Zambezi River on the Zambian
28:42 side are owned by their family.
28:45 From one man, from one man who built a bridge of a boat,
28:53 you're in Chichis to build something
28:55 that's an arch bridge or a hanging bridge.
29:01 But in the meantime--
29:02 I'll use a canoe.
29:05 In the meantime.
29:06 Don't you never say in the meantime.
29:08 You need a bridge where there are old ideas
29:11 and you need new ones.
29:12 You need a bridge where there are old structures,
29:14 you need new structures.
29:15 You need a bridge.
29:17 And so the bridge from Malachi to John the Baptist
29:20 was 400 years.
29:25 Because change doesn't come overnight.
29:28 The moon doesn't say good night and the sun says I'm here.
29:31 No.
29:31 It takes a few, maybe an hour to change transitions.
29:38 When do you need a bridge?
29:40 When an entity, when any entity is in transition,
29:47 you need a bridge.
29:49 What's your name?
29:51 Dexter.
29:53 You speak on Dexter Day.
29:54 Are you married?
29:56 Right.
29:57 You shouldn't be.
30:00 You're too young.
30:01 Anybody that's transposing shouldn't be.
30:04 So if you saw a flower in my garden here,
30:08 if you saw a flower in Bishop's garden,
30:11 don't go off the service and pick my flower.
30:14 No.
30:16 You start by admiring the garden and the flower.
30:22 Before you pick the flower, you start
30:24 taking a little bit of fertilizer through the bishop.
30:28 Can't just come and cut my flower.
30:38 For the flower, say amen.
30:41 Say, Dexter, did you hear?
30:43 Ah, the man's going to be famous.
30:47 Stop it, Drain.
30:47 I'll give you $100.
30:52 Come see me up at church.
30:53 $100, all right?
30:56 Who else wants to be Dexter?
30:58 Raise your hand.
30:58 The point that I'm driving at here
31:06 is that the bridge is important in transition.
31:11 You go from being a single woman to a married woman.
31:14 You leave your mother and father and cleave to your new world.
31:20 You can't be a Zambian and a Zimbabwean.
31:24 [LAUGHTER]
31:26 You want me to do splits?
31:39 67 now.
31:40 You are either, you are or.
31:48 Why you are either going to or?
31:51 It's a bridge.
31:54 It's a bridge.
31:55 You have to learn how to stretch and build bridges.
32:01 If you're bulking and you're doing weights, do it naturally.
32:06 Don't pump steroids.
32:09 Because if you build too quickly,
32:11 it will hurt you in other places.
32:14 Your health will struggle.
32:15 Do it simply and naturally.
32:17 And finally, finally, we have to learn
32:25 how to build bridges between the haves and the have-nots.
32:30 It's economic challenges and difficulties.
32:33 There are people here that drive 2002, 2003 cars.
32:38 But there are those that are struggling to get a dollar
32:41 to go home today.
32:42 Isn't that right, Dexter?
32:44 [CHUCKLES]
32:46 There are haves.
32:51 There are have-nots.
32:53 So the other day, I went to Juza, Pastor Chichis' car,
32:56 because I try to make sure she's got enough fuel
32:58 over the weekends.
33:00 And there was a young guy in front of me that put $5.
33:04 So I ran to the window.
33:05 I said, you're putting $5?
33:07 She said, what's wrong with that?
33:09 I said, I want to fill up your tank.
33:11 I said, what's wrong with that?
33:13 She said, thank you, thank you.
33:14 [LAUGHTER]
33:16 The old man said, give me, Jilizami, for $5.
33:26 And as he was pulling away, the needle on the tank
33:28 fell out of the car.
33:29 He couldn't believe it was full.
33:30 [LAUGHTER]
33:32 Because I realized that I have, and there was somebody there
33:38 that has not.
33:39 [LAUGHTER]
33:42 I always feel for people who are stuck on the side of the road,
33:48 because I've been there.
33:51 I've been on the road sometimes stuck for two days, 18 hours.
33:54 I've been there.
33:56 I've been there where my car caught on fire,
33:58 and I couldn't put the fire out.
33:59 I've been there.
34:00 I arrived in Johannesburg, sat at the airport for 18 hours.
34:04 My dad finally arrived, picked us up, put our stuff
34:07 in the car.
34:08 When he started the car, the car caught on fire
34:10 right outside the airport.
34:12 The fire engine came.
34:13 That hose, like from here to the end, hit the bonnet off.
34:19 The winds came all the windows out as they put out the fire,
34:22 because they couldn't have a fire right there.
34:24 We were stuck there with nowhere to go for a day and a half.
34:28 We found a member of my dad's church that said to my dad,
34:31 you can only spend eight hours in my house.
34:35 In that eight hours, we're trying to find a place to go.
34:38 We went and found somebody that knew somebody,
34:40 that recommended somebody, that was somebody
34:42 that wasn't a somebody.
34:45 Because the twins met there and mocked my brother, my dad,
34:48 and myself.
34:49 And the guy said to me, he said, you can't stay here.
34:53 They put us in the side room on the side there,
34:55 and they said, we're not giving you food.
34:57 We just need to be protected.
35:00 So we go to church on Sundays.
35:02 We went to church.
35:03 And my dad was witnessing them, so they came to church,
35:06 and they gave their hearts to the Lord.
35:08 Then they wanted to give us food.
35:10 I said, no, we're not eating your food.
35:14 We go eat somewhere else.
35:17 So I've been there.
35:20 You have to have compassion.
35:21 Compassion is helping build a bridge.
35:24 If somebody is crying, they're either
35:26 crying because they're stupid, or they're crying
35:28 because they have a problem.
35:30 If they're crying because they're stupid,
35:32 throw them in the river.
35:36 Now I'm just saying, by that I mean stupid is not--
35:39 you tell this girl, stay away from this guy.
35:43 Stay away from this guy.
35:45 Stay away from this guy.
35:46 Stay, stay away, away, away.
35:48 Stay away from this guy.
35:49 Away, away, away.
35:50 Stay away.
35:53 And then she's in trouble.
35:55 Just take her in the river.
35:56 Throw her in the river.
35:57 Let her go see Jesus.
36:00 But if she listens, you then help build the bridge.
36:04 Isn't that right, Nasha?
36:06 Build the bridge.
36:08 Somebody stretch the bridge.
36:10 Somebody stand and stretch.
36:12 Jesus is the bridge.
36:17 I'll do part two in the second service.
36:30 Jesus is the bridge.
36:35 I am determined to build my bridge.
36:37 OK, OK, I was saying I'm determined.
36:42 Thank you, amen.
36:43 Say, I'm determined to build my bridge.
36:45 I'm determined to build my bridge.
36:47 Cost you a lot.
36:49 Cost you time.
36:50 It's going to cost you materials.
36:52 Going to cost you your will.
36:55 Build that bridge.
36:55 Raise your right hand.
36:57 Father, every woman and every man in this auditorium,
37:00 in the lower auditorium, in the overflow rooms,
37:04 watching online, cause them to have the willpower
37:08 to build a bridge.
37:11 Jesus came and built a bridge from the old to the new,
37:14 from the lost to the saved, from the sick to the healed,
37:18 from darkness to light.
37:20 You can do the same thing, Janet.
37:23 Build the bridge.
37:24 Now stretch your hand horizontally.
37:28 Say, I'm a bridge builder.
37:31 I'm a bridge builder.
37:34 Horizontally on your side to touch a person.
37:41 Say, I'll help you with your bridge.
37:44 Tell them, I'll help you with your bridge.
37:47 I'll help you with your bridge.
37:48 There's so many lonely people in this room
37:57 that live on their own.
37:59 Lonely.
38:01 They don't have a friend.
38:03 They come to church.
38:03 They talk to a few people.
38:06 They love coming to church because there's
38:08 a few people they can talk with.
38:09 But from Sunday to Sunday, they don't have a friend.
38:13 They hardly get a phone call.
38:15 The phone call is usually from their job.
38:18 They don't watch TV.
38:21 Their team is doing well, so they don't watch football.
38:25 Isn't that right, Helen?
38:27 And so help the person next to you.
38:30 Help them build a bridge.
38:32 Help them.
38:34 Those of you that are in various worlds for the up and coming,
38:38 help them build a bridge.
38:41 Tell the truth when you're building the bridge.
38:44 Tell the truth.
38:46 Don't use substandard material to build a strong structure.
38:53 Imagine if you were a bridge builder.
38:55 Imagine if they'd used maplanga to build that bridge
38:59 across Victoria Falls, the first train, Chubu.
39:01 So, Sam, it takes a while, but use the best material
39:09 for the bridge.
39:11 Father, we command your blessing on every family.
39:14 Bless 2024.
39:16 And now bless the children that are going back to school
39:19 this week.
39:20 Bless those that are starting school this week.
39:25 The five and six-year-olds, bless them.
39:27 Bless those that are going to high school
39:29 for the first time this week.
39:32 Bless the borders.
39:33 Keep them safe on the roads.
39:35 We love you guys.
39:37 Take care.
39:38 Have a great week.
39:40 [MUSIC PLAYING]
39:43 [MUSIC PLAYING]
39:47 [MUSIC PLAYING]
39:50 you
