00:07 Today I will teach you how to make barley kheer.
00:14 You must have eaten rice kheer.
00:19 Jow is not as popular as oats or other grains.
00:30 But it is very beneficial as it has a lot of vitamins and minerals.
00:36 It has copper, chromium, selenium, magnesium and fiber.
00:44 So it is good for your health.
00:50 So what do we need?
00:52 Jow Dalia, Ghee, Fresh Cream, Sugar, Mixed Dry Fruit, Kewra Water and Milk.
01:12 So let's start making barley kheer.
01:15 It is very easy to make.
01:18 It is a very simple recipe.
01:20 Take 1 spoon of ghee.
01:23 If you have cow ghee, it is better.
01:31 Let the ghee melt.
01:34 On medium flame.
01:38 Now add 150 gms of barley dalia.
01:44 Roast it on low flame.
01:52 Roast it till it starts smelling good.
01:58 It has the aroma of roasted jow.

02:07 Roast it on low flame for 5 to 6 minutes.
02:10 We are roasting it for 5 minutes.

02:29 After roasting for 5 minutes, add milk.

03:51 To give it some more richness, add fresh cream.

04:04 Turn off the flame.
04:08 Mix it well.
04:12 To give it some flavor, add some kewra water.

04:29 Your Barley Kheer is ready.
