00:00 They can take six months, they can take nine.
00:02 This one's taken closer to two and a half years.
00:05 But I think the longer you put into something,
00:07 the better it's likely to be.
00:08 You know, reaching Europe as an end to the film
00:11 is fantastic.
00:12 You couldn't really have envisaged that 26 years ago,
00:14 could you?
00:15 - I'm really pleased with the work that Matt's done.
00:17 I mean, it's very difficult, I think,
00:19 to try and capture 25 or 26 years in 90 minutes,
00:23 particularly with a club like ours
00:24 where that history has been so turbulent at times.
00:27 But I think he's done an excellent job.
00:29 I love the fact there's fans in it,
00:31 ex-players in it, ex-managers in it, directors, media.
00:35 It really captures, I think, the spirit of Brighton
00:39 and what we've been through over the last 25, 26 years.
00:42 - I was really pleased to be a part of it.
00:44 I played a small part in the club's history
00:46 over the recent years, and I think it's really good.
00:50 I watched it, I was lucky enough to watch it
00:52 on a screen on Monday night,
00:53 and it portrays the Brighton story really well.
00:56 It's a rags-to-riches story
00:58 that hopefully the masses will fall in love with worldwide.
01:01 The first I heard of it
01:02 was probably about 18 months, a year ago,
01:04 and it just all seemed to fall into place,
01:07 25 years since Hereford,
01:09 nearly falling out of the Football League,
01:11 and then 10 years in the Amex,
01:13 and I think it was five years in the Premier League.
01:15 So it just felt so apt to do it now.
01:19 There was no better time.
01:20 - I really think it is a perfect story.
01:23 I think it will, all around the world,
01:26 people will see this, football fans, non-football fans,
01:28 but I think people around the world
01:30 who don't have an affinity to any one club,
01:33 I think this may well draw them
01:35 towards Brighton and Herbalvion Football Club for life,
01:38 and I think our number of international fans
01:42 will exponentially increase over the next two or three years
01:45 because of this documentary.
