00:00 What is the role of AI in the future?
00:03 We probably think that it is our competitor,
00:07 so that somehow it looks like us.
00:10 Artificial intelligence is an extraordinary tool,
00:13 we call it intelligence,
00:14 so we think it can take on typically human prerogatives,
00:18 but in reality, just as it is designed,
00:21 it cannot compete with us on fields such as creativity, for example,
00:25 because creativity means knowing how to break the rules
00:29 and machines, by definition,
00:31 for how they are built, cannot break the rules.
00:34 I believe that the challenge in the disclosure of artificial intelligence
00:38 is, on the one hand, in making it clear that it is a tool
00:41 that has many facets,
00:43 there is no artificial intelligence,
00:46 there are several, depending on the function for which they were designed.
00:50 So artificial intelligence is designed, I don't know, to design a drug,
00:54 it is not analogous, even as a challenge, to what, for example, generates texts.
01:00 And this is one point.
01:02 The other point is the difficulty of accepting the fact that we are telling something that changes.
01:07 It is a great technological frontier and the frontiers go on, they move.
