I've owned a Tesla Model 3 previously and was super keen to jump behind the wheel of the updated 2023 Polestar 2 - this one is the long-range two-wheel drive version. So how did it go?

MotorTranscript
00:00 G'day, I'm Paul.
00:00 So you want an electric vehicle,
00:02 but you don't wanna be a Tesla person?
00:04 Well, what are your options?
00:06 This is one of them.
00:07 It is the Polestar 2.
00:08 It's a competitor to things like the Model 3,
00:11 the Kia EV6, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
00:15 Polestar, for those of you who don't know,
00:16 is a spinoff from Volvo, and it's IPO'd as well.
00:20 So it's a publicly listed company
00:21 that just makes electric vehicles,
00:23 and that's where Volvo is heading now as well.
00:26 This one here is the middle specification.
00:27 So it's the long range, single motor version,
00:30 priced at a little under $70,000.
00:32 This has had a price rise recently.
00:34 If that's too expensive though,
00:35 the entire range kicks off at just under 65 grand.
00:38 Today, we're gonna do a detailed review of this car.
00:40 So if you do wanna skip ahead to other parts of the review,
00:42 you can use the time codes on the screen,
00:44 or if you're on YouTube,
00:45 you can scroll down and use the chapters below.
00:47 And if you haven't done so already,
00:48 subscribe to our channel and press the bell icon
00:51 so you can find out every single time
00:53 we drive a new electric vehicle.
00:55 So let's talk about the exterior.
00:57 You've got six external colours to pick from.
00:59 Orbit Magnesium is gonna cost you $1,500.
01:03 I like this colour.
01:04 Looks very nice with the colour-coded Polestar logo
01:08 up at the front there.
01:09 Now, let's talk about the design.
01:12 I think this is a very smart-looking car.
01:14 So down the front there,
01:15 you have this matte black finish on the grille
01:17 with a little radar sensor there,
01:19 360 camera nestled into there as well.
01:21 Little air dam down the bottom there for cooling,
01:23 and then up the top here as well.
01:24 Typically, you see with EVs, all of this is blocked off,
01:27 but there is actually a cooling element behind there.
01:30 So in terms of the actual design itself,
01:33 this platform is based off the XC40,
01:35 so it is an internal combustion platform
01:37 that they have converted to electric vehicle,
01:39 which is why you'll see some stuff that is strange,
01:41 such as not a great deal of storage under the bonnet here,
01:44 driveline hump in the cabin.
01:46 So hopefully, the next generation of this
01:48 is going to be EV from ground up
01:50 instead of this sort of cobbled thing that they have here.
01:53 Over on the headlights,
01:54 you have full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights,
01:59 fog light down the bottom there,
02:00 and let's whip around to the side.
02:02 Now, a single motor in Polestar 2 land is front-wheel drive,
02:05 so it sends all of its torque through the front wheels here,
02:08 which is interesting.
02:09 So 245 mil, and this has Michelin Primacy 4 tyres.
02:14 The reason I say it's interesting
02:16 is because front-wheel drive EVs
02:18 always have torque limitations,
02:20 especially because the torque is so sudden.
02:21 When you try and send it through the front wheels,
02:23 you end up with torque steer
02:24 and all other sort of weird things.
02:26 So I'll be keen to see what this is like
02:27 when we go for a bit of a drive.
02:28 You've got a machined finish on the outside of that wheel
02:30 with piano black on the inside and that aero design,
02:34 wheel arch cladding there as well.
02:36 I don't know about this.
02:37 I think this is a bit silly.
02:39 They all come with a sticker on the side there
02:40 that tells you it's a battery electric vehicle,
02:43 the battery size and the power it makes.
02:45 I think it's a bit silly
02:46 because if in the future they offer power upgrades,
02:48 which they have done in the past,
02:50 that sticker becomes outdated.
02:52 Maybe they give you another sticker
02:53 you have to put on there, I don't know.
02:54 You have body-colored wing mirror,
02:56 indicator built into there
02:57 and a camera down the bottom there as well.
02:59 Glass roof here if you get the plus pack,
03:01 and I'll run you through the ridiculous option packs
03:04 very soon.
03:05 Coming out to the back, just like the Model 3,
03:07 this is a hatch.
03:08 You've got a shark fin aerial up the top there,
03:10 brake light integrated into the top part of the glass.
03:12 And I love this taillight design.
03:14 So full LED, it connects in through the center there
03:17 and another body-colored Polestar logo,
03:19 all black down the bottom here
03:20 with these satin chrome finishes.
03:23 So let me know what you reckon about the Polestar 2 design.
03:26 Do you think it looks good?
03:27 And are you gonna be buying this over a Model 3?
03:29 Let me know down there.
03:30 So we are inside the Polestar.
03:32 We'll start off with the key.
03:34 Here it is, you've got the Polestar logo there.
03:36 Then on the side you have panic
03:38 and then lock, unlock, boot.
03:42 I hope there's a better looking key than this.
03:43 Maybe this is just the spare key,
03:45 but that looks pretty cheap and nasty.
03:47 It is a proximity sensing key,
03:48 so you can leave that in your pocket.
03:50 And then once you're inside to start the car,
03:51 you just put your foot on the brake
03:52 and put it into drive here on the gear stick.
03:55 You can also use a digital key as well,
03:57 which means you don't actually have to have
03:58 the physical key on you.
03:59 You just use your phone to open the car.
04:01 So the interior, I really like the look of this.
04:04 It's very simple, but not over the top like a Tesla.
04:08 Here I actually have things like a head-up display.
04:10 I've got the screen here ahead of me.
04:12 Really nice looking infotainment system
04:14 and then functional buttons.
04:15 I find with all the Tesla stuff
04:17 and same with our Model Y, it's just too minimal.
04:19 I need to have the speed in front of me,
04:21 especially here in Australia
04:22 there's so many speed cameras.
04:23 Just having that central screen,
04:24 which is a bit cluttered and hard to use
04:26 while you're driving is not really good enough.
04:27 This is a much better layout.
04:30 A little bit of piano black here,
04:31 but it's not the end of the world.
04:33 And this is a vegan interior as well.
04:35 So all of this stuff here is sort of vegan.
04:39 Polestar, I went to the launch of the Polestar 3
04:41 and they went on about how their method
04:44 of sourcing vegan materials inside
04:46 is better than other manufacturers.
04:47 'Cause a lot of them use toxic materials
04:49 to source their plastics and that sort of stuff.
04:51 And these guys as well, if you go down the path of leather,
04:54 they actually ethically source that leather
04:56 and have it sustainably sourced
04:58 so it is from byproducts of meat as well.
05:00 So there you go, fun fact.
05:02 Now, what about your touch points?
05:03 So all of this stuff up the top here is really nice.
05:05 I love this sort of fabric exposed
05:07 and this wood grain there as well.
05:10 Centre here is pretty firm and firm-ish on the door.
05:14 How firm are they?
05:15 We've got our durometer.
05:16 We've tested the main surfaces in this cabin.
05:18 If you wanna see how this car compares to others
05:20 that we've tested before,
05:21 have a look at the link in the description below.
05:23 Now, build quality.
05:24 That is solid as a rock.
05:28 Door.
05:29 Sounds really good.
05:34 So let's talk infotainment.
05:35 You've got an 11.2 inch display here.
05:37 You've also got a screen ahead of the driver.
05:40 Running through this first, I love the way this looks
05:43 and it's actually really easy to use,
05:45 especially while you're driving as well.
05:46 So this is the map display.
05:48 You can see it uses Google Maps
05:49 and you can actually see the proving ground
05:51 and all the roads and all that sort of stuff
05:53 and you can zoom all the way in.
05:55 Even here in the middle of nowhere,
05:57 there is sort of sufficient detail there
05:59 to see sort of what's going on,
06:00 which I think is pretty cool.
06:02 In addition to that,
06:03 you then have a lot of other online services.
06:05 You have a Google Play Store
06:06 that allows you to download apps onto the screen
06:08 so you can do tune in radio.
06:10 So you can listen to virtually any radio station
06:12 around the world, which I think is cool.
06:14 And then on the audio front as well,
06:15 you have AM/FM/DAB digital radio.
06:18 And the good thing here,
06:19 well, it's good if you pay the optional package,
06:21 but the good thing here is you can get a 13-speaker
06:23 Harman Kardon branded sound system, which is excellent,
06:27 but it's like a, what is it, $6,000 plus pack.
06:30 So that adds the vegan seats, the heat pump,
06:32 and a few other things.
06:33 And look, just very briefly to digress,
06:35 the heat pump I reckon should be standard.
06:37 In EVs, a heat pump is used to help the battery
06:40 reach its regulated operating temperature.
06:42 When it hits that operating temperature,
06:44 it's the most efficient and it's gonna use less energy,
06:46 especially when it comes to charging.
06:48 The fact that you have to get the heat pump
06:49 through a $6,000 option pack, I think is pretty crap.
06:53 Same with the safety stuff that I'll run through
06:54 in a second, but anyway.
06:56 In addition to those features, it doesn't have Android Auto
06:59 because this is Android Automotive
07:01 in terms of the operating system,
07:02 but it does have Apple CarPlay, although it is wired.
07:06 It's not a wireless setup, which I think is
07:08 a little bit disappointing in this day and age,
07:10 but outside of that, really good infotainment systems
07:12 to use, very friendly and all that kind of thing.
07:15 Now, ahead of the driver,
07:16 very minimalist and simple display.
07:18 It gives you all your key information.
07:19 You can pop maps up there if you want,
07:21 but there really isn't sort of too much detail
07:23 that goes on there, but at least it exists.
07:25 Like I said before, with all the Tesla stuff,
07:27 it is just, you need this screen
07:29 to see exactly what you're doing.
07:30 Now, safety, this is an interesting discussion.
07:32 So you have autonomous emergency braking
07:34 with pedestrian and cyclist detection.
07:36 A/B works in forwards and reverse as well.
07:40 You've got a lane keeping assistant,
07:42 but you then have an optional pack.
07:44 I'm gonna read this from here.
07:46 So the pack is $3,400, and that includes
07:49 blind spot monitor, radar cruise control,
07:51 rear cross traffic alert, and a 360 camera,
07:54 and the semi-autonomous steering function.
07:56 Why is it optional?
07:59 You know, EVs should be the latest
08:01 and greatest of everything.
08:02 The fact you have to pay all this extra money for it
08:05 is a bit silly, and when you look at this
08:06 compared to a Tesla in terms of price,
08:08 the Tesla comes with a lot of that stuff
08:10 as just standard, there are no options.
08:12 So it is a little bit disappointing
08:14 that you have to spend all this extra money
08:15 to get the stuff that should actually be standard
08:18 in a car that costs this much regardless.
08:20 On the reversing camera as well,
08:22 even though you're paying extra for it,
08:24 the quality is not really great.
08:26 I'll show you what that looks like.
08:27 So you can see there, the quality of that is pretty average.
08:30 It's so grainy, you can barely sort of see
08:32 what's going on there.
08:33 And then looking out the back, it is just, yeah.
08:36 It's like looking through a glass bottle or something.
08:39 So yeah, and you have to pay optional for this,
08:42 which is, yeah, I reckon a little bit disappointing.
08:45 So yeah, but it does come with front
08:47 and rear parking sensors.
08:48 What about your practicality?
08:49 We'll start off with connectivity.
08:51 So you've got two USB-C ports
08:52 hidden under those rubber covers.
08:54 You have a wireless phone charger down here.
08:56 In terms of storing your phone though,
08:58 it can go here in the cup holder or on the wireless charger.
09:01 But if you do have a bottle or a cup in there,
09:03 there really aren't that many places
09:05 to put it outside of the wireless charger.
09:06 In fact, storage here just in general isn't very good
09:09 because yeah, once you have a bottle or something in there,
09:12 all this stuff is all taken up.
09:13 So in terms of your coffee cup, it goes in there nicely,
09:16 but again, you're reaching back here to get it.
09:19 So it isn't really a convenient location.
09:22 It does fit a bottle though without any dramas.
09:24 You've got teeth in there.
09:25 Bottle fits inside the door too,
09:27 but I don't think we'll be able to fit
09:29 our big bottle in there.
09:30 No big bottle, just the small one.
09:33 On other storage, you've got a center console here
09:36 that has another cup holder.
09:38 And then in addition to that, you have these slots here
09:39 next to the driver's knee and the passenger's knee.
09:42 And finally a glove box down here,
09:44 which is actually pretty reasonably sized.
09:46 Now moving on to comfort,
09:46 you have dual zone automatic climate control.
09:49 You have seat heating for the front row
09:51 as part of that optional package,
09:52 along with steering wheel heating.
09:54 Electric seat adjustments, you can go forwards, backwards.
09:57 Your backrest can go forwards, backwards.
09:59 You can lift the front of the seat, back of the seat.
10:02 You also have bolster adjustment
10:03 and seat memory as well for the driver.
10:06 Passenger is electrically adjustable as well.
10:09 And just on steering, you have tilt and reach adjustment.
10:13 And on our reach test, all of this stuff is easy to reach
10:16 while you're driving.
10:17 And just on comfort, very comfortable seats,
10:20 these vegan seats.
10:21 Okay, second row of the Polestar 2.
10:24 I don't know who this is built for,
10:25 but it's definitely not Burley Blux.
10:27 It is very tight back here.
10:29 So knee room is good, but toe room is non-existent.
10:32 My toes are wedged under there.
10:33 Headroom is ridiculous.
10:34 My head is resting on the roof.
10:37 It's just like, did anyone actually sit in the back here
10:39 when you were engineering this?
10:40 Opening the door handle as well,
10:42 I can't actually get my hand in there.
10:44 I have to lean this way and do that.
10:46 Otherwise I get wedged up on here.
10:47 So yeah, just in terms of ergonomics,
10:50 this is really not very well done.
10:51 And I mentioned earlier as well
10:53 that this is built on an internal combustion platform.
10:55 So you have this enormous driveline hump
10:57 down the center here.
10:58 So yeah, not a very good layout.
11:01 Hopefully with the next generation of this,
11:02 they actually do EV from ground up
11:04 and think about passenger room in the second row.
11:07 You do get air vents down here,
11:09 heated seats as part of that option pack.
11:11 Here you have two USB-C slots.
11:14 You have matte pockets in the back of the seats.
11:16 Let's have a look at bottle storage.
11:17 So you've got a center armrest here with two cup holders.
11:19 So you can pop your bottle in there.
11:21 Gripped teeth as well to hold it all in position.
11:24 Bottle can also go inside the door just.
11:27 Now, seats for babies,
11:29 you have two ISOFIX points on the outboard seats
11:31 and three top tether points.
11:33 And on our window test,
11:35 having to do this awkwardly,
11:36 doesn't go all the way down.
11:38 And that is because the power switches off
11:40 every time you get out of the car.
11:42 Cargo space, I mentioned earlier on, this is a hatch.
11:45 I'll show you how it works.
11:47 You've got a power tailgate.
11:48 So you have a little over 400 liters
11:52 of cargo space available here
11:54 and just under 40 liters available in the front.
11:57 Now, the interesting thing is that
11:59 I still don't have any idea what that does.
12:01 So if you do know,
12:02 please let me know in the comment section below.
12:05 I'm entirely sure.
12:06 Maybe it keeps things up the front there.
12:07 Who knows?
12:08 Beneath here, you have extra storage as well.
12:11 Given this is front wheel drive,
12:12 you don't have a motor there getting in the way of things.
12:14 You have storage off to the sides,
12:15 a 12 volt outlet just off to the side as well.
12:18 Show you what it looks like with our bags in there.
12:20 So laptop bag and then suitcase.
12:24 It's actually not a bad storage space.
12:26 Once you do put that cargo blind in though,
12:28 it is a little bit limited there
12:30 in terms of the height you can load in.
12:32 And then if you do want a bit more space,
12:34 you can drop the second row as well.
12:38 That then gives you a fairly flat load space.
12:41 Before we go for a spin,
12:42 I want to run you through all the EV stuff.
12:44 So you have a 78 kilowatt hour battery.
12:48 In addition to that,
12:49 you have the capability of charging AC and DC.
12:52 AC can be charged on three phase up to 11 kilowatts.
12:55 DC will do up to 155 kilowatts
12:58 with an average power of 108 kilowatts.
13:01 So it's okay, but not amazing.
13:03 In terms of your driving range,
13:04 you have over 500 kilometers on the WLTP cycle as well.
13:09 So decent setup,
13:11 but I think it could be a little bit better
13:12 on the DC charging front.
13:13 So we have hit the road in the Polestar 2.
13:19 This, despite being the long range,
13:20 only has a single motor and that sits on the front axle.
13:23 It produces 170 kilowatts of power
13:26 and 330 newton meters of torque.
13:29 So I mentioned earlier on that you get to the point
13:31 where you have too much torque on a front wheel drive
13:34 and it causes it to torque steer and be all over the place.
13:37 This is right at that limit.
13:39 Any more than this
13:40 and it really would be a scrabbling for grip
13:42 like something like the Hyundai Kona does.
13:44 It just has way too much torque for its weight.
13:46 And as a result of that, the drivability isn't very good.
13:49 So this is sort of right where it needs to be.
13:51 Obviously though,
13:52 that will affect your performance limiting torque
13:54 and it means that the zero to 100 time
13:56 is nowhere near as quick as dual motor version,
13:58 which I'll run you through later on.
14:00 But what does it feel like behind the wheels?
14:01 So look, it does all that sort of AV stuff.
14:05 It's certainly not as sort of kick you in the back
14:07 as a Tesla Model 3
14:09 and that is primarily because of that front wheel drive stuff.
14:11 As I hit the throttle there,
14:12 I can feel we are right at the traction limits of that tyre,
14:16 despite it being 245 mil wide.
14:19 But outside of that, it is quick enough for most people.
14:23 Polestar claims a combined economy of 17
14:26 or thereabouts kilowatt hours per 100 kilometres.
14:30 We are currently sitting on 18.4.
14:32 That's a pretty reasonable number.
14:34 I'm sort of thinking back to when I had my
14:37 Model 3 performance,
14:38 that sort of averaged around 15 or 16 kilowatt hours
14:41 per 100 kilometres.
14:42 So much quicker, but with a performance AV,
14:45 it doesn't really make that much of a difference
14:46 because it's only using that energy
14:48 when you're on the throttle.
14:49 It's not like a big performance internal combustion car,
14:52 which is always consuming more energy.
14:54 Now, what is the ride like over our sine waves?
14:57 We'll jack the speed up to 130.
15:00 Our sine waves simulate overtaking
15:02 on a dodgy country road here in Australia.
15:05 So let's see what this feels like.
15:08 Here they come.
15:09 It's actually pretty good.
15:13 And part of the reason it's so good
15:15 is that the ride is pretty firm.
15:17 So in and around the city,
15:19 it picks up every single surface that you go over
15:22 and it's, you know, even though the Model 3 is quite firm,
15:25 this isn't as comfortable as a Model 3.
15:27 So I think they probably need to do a little bit of work
15:29 here to the ride to just soften it out a bit
15:31 and remove that really edgy nature to it,
15:33 which I don't know, they do sometimes in EVs,
15:37 in the slow ones, I'm fine with it being in the faster ones,
15:39 but yeah, here in the entry level,
15:41 it really should be a whole lot smoother than it is.
15:43 Now let's talk drive modes.
15:44 You don't really have a sport mode, so to speak,
15:46 but you can change steering feel.
15:48 You can also change the way it does its one pedal driving.
15:51 One pedal driving stuff works pretty well,
15:53 although if you do want to bring it to a stop,
15:56 you have to switch creep off
15:58 and then it will come to a full stop
16:00 and then hold the brake for you as well.
16:02 And that tends to work pretty well.
16:03 You also have a sport mode for the ESC.
16:05 So let's click that and go for a drive around our track here.
16:09 We'll tip it into our first turn.
16:11 Yeah, it feels good,
16:14 but I can feel the stability control frantically
16:17 trying to stop our inside wheel from spinning there.
16:21 Mind you, that ride being as firm as it is
16:23 keeps everything nice and flat.
16:26 So it doesn't have a great deal of body roll through corners.
16:29 And that means on the higher speed stuff,
16:34 you can sort of confidently tip it in.
16:35 There's actually really good steering feel as well.
16:37 It's sort of, you can really feel everything
16:41 that the car's doing beneath the skin.
16:42 Brakes are really good as well.
16:46 So in addition to that,
16:48 you also have a decent set of brakes to pull everything up.
16:51 Coming onto our back straight here,
16:53 we'll see what this feels like.
16:55 It's actually quite surprising how dynamic this feels.
16:58 I'd be keen to drive the performance version
17:00 with the dual motor to really get stuck into that,
17:03 but it's trucking along really nicely.
17:06 Yeah, I like that.
17:09 Speed limited there to 165 as well.
17:11 So yeah, look, pretty impressed with the Polestar 2
17:15 in terms of handling.
17:17 Polestar claims a zero to 100 time
17:20 of a little over seven seconds.
17:22 So let's see how it goes here against the V-Box.
17:25 Does feel very leisurely.
17:32 Okay.
17:35 We'll go all the way up to 120
17:36 so we can get our overtaking number as well.
17:39 All right, there it is, come to a stop.
17:45 Now I'm gonna have to look over my shoulder here
17:47 because ridiculously the only 12 volt outlet
17:49 in the car is in the boot.
17:50 Had to mount the V-Box to the roof.
17:52 So zero to 100, 8.1 seconds, so way off the claim.
17:56 80 to 120 of 5.2 seconds,
17:59 which is reasonable for overtaking.
18:01 So yeah, it is interesting how it's almost a full second
18:06 off the claim zero to 100 time,
18:09 which is a little bit disappointing, I reckon.
18:11 Okay, it is time for our reverse test.
18:14 Let's see how quick the Polestar 2 will go in reverse.
18:17 Here we go.
18:18 Very gentle there, 32 kilometers an hour.
18:28 Let's talk about road noise.
18:33 It is pretty noisy in here, especially on course chip roads.
18:37 There is a lot of tire noise that comes into the cabin.
18:40 It's a little bit disappointing
18:41 'cause I think they're insulated tires as well.
18:43 So it should be subduing a lot of that noise,
18:44 but you do notice that at highway speeds,
18:46 it really is quite noisy and boomy inside the cabin,
18:49 which isn't ideal for an EV.
18:51 So what's your visibility like?
18:53 Well, I can see clearly down the front there.
18:55 It's an interesting seating position
18:57 because it's not an SUV.
18:58 You're sitting sort of fairly low to the ground.
19:01 The wing mirrors could be a tiny bit bigger as well,
19:03 but you do have that blind spot monitor built into those.
19:05 Visibility out the back isn't very good.
19:07 It's quite a narrow window there
19:09 and the headrests kind of get in the way of things,
19:11 but you've got that fancy reversing camera
19:13 that takes care of parking this in tight spaces.
19:16 You've also got an 11.5 metre turning circle.
19:19 Okay, so we are on the bowl to test our lane support system.
19:23 So I'll get it up to 70
19:25 and we will pop our cruise control on.
19:30 You can see pilot assist is active.
19:32 You've got the little steering wheel indicator there
19:33 showing that the car is steering for us.
19:36 So we'll see how it goes.
19:37 So this is our base test here in this lane.
19:40 So that works well.
19:40 Then we'll move to the two outer lanes,
19:42 which will simulate more and more
19:44 of a steering input requirement from the car
19:48 to stay within its lane.
19:49 So here's the next lane.
19:52 All right, that is active.
19:55 It's okay.
19:59 I am noticing it's getting close to that line
20:01 and I did notice this on the drive out here today
20:03 that it was very close to the line
20:05 and it kind of straddled it for some reason,
20:07 but it is working here in the second lane.
20:09 So we'll jump up to the hardest one.
20:11 This is where a lot of cars fail.
20:12 So we'll see if this works.
20:15 Okay, so it's saying it's active.
20:16 I'll let go of the wheel.
20:17 There you go.
20:20 It is riding the line
20:21 and now it's coming back into the center there.
20:24 That's awesome.
20:25 Really impressive setup there.
20:28 It's actually working really well.
20:29 So this is only one of the few cars
20:30 that actually works in this lane.
20:33 It is a little jittery, but it is working,
20:35 which is the main thing.
20:37 Awesome.
20:38 Impressive Polestar.
20:39 So the Polestar 2, what do we reckon?
20:44 Look, I think it's a nice car and I like it,
20:47 but I don't love it.
20:48 I think it is too compromised
20:49 to be a proper Tesla Model 3 competitor.
20:51 And I think that some of the flaws that it has,
20:54 you can't fix until you have a new platform.
20:56 Like stuff like that rear leg room is terrible.
20:58 The driveline hump is really not very good.
21:00 If you put those things to the side
21:02 and have a look at the technology
21:04 that they've put into this, it is actually excellent.
21:06 I love the infotainment system.
21:07 It does all the intuitive stuff that a Tesla does,
21:10 over the air updates.
21:10 It really is a complete package from that point of view.
21:13 But yeah, it's just let down by just the packaging.
21:16 So I don't know.
21:18 Let me know what you reckon in the comment section below.
21:20 Are you a convert?
21:20 Did you end up buying one of these?
21:22 I was a bit troubled when I read comments
21:24 by the Polestar boss saying
21:25 that they won't be doing upgrades to the cars.
21:27 It will just be more incremental stuff
21:29 similar to what Tesla is doing.
21:30 I fully support that,
21:31 but I hope that is after this arrives on its own platform
21:35 as opposed to the way that it is now.
21:36 So let's see what happens.
21:37 Let me know what you reckon
21:38 down in the comment section below.
21:40 Are you a Tesla convert
21:41 or are you gonna go get one of these?
21:43 Let me know what you think down there.
