00:02 Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05 Starting with this week's bombshell,
00:07 and it's from Britney Spears' new memoir.
00:09 And of course, People has the exclusive.
00:11 So in the book, she reveals that she had an abortion
00:14 while dating Justin Timberlake.
00:16 She claims he wasn't happy about the pregnancy
00:19 because he just wasn't ready to be a father.
00:21 There's no word from Justin yet on what went down.
00:24 She also reveals that her infamous head shaving incident
00:27 was her way of just pushing back against people
00:29 objectifying her.
00:30 And it wasn't just the public, it was her own father too.
00:33 She claims he was constantly telling her
00:35 that she looked fat.
00:36 But with her new book,
00:38 Britney says she's taking control and raising her voice.
00:41 She says that the memoir is her way of quote,
00:43 "Owning my past, my present, and my future."
00:46 And we thought Jada Pinkett Smith's book
00:49 had some bombshells.
00:51 Well, it turns out even Will Smith was shocked
00:53 at some of his wife's revelations.
00:55 Jada appeared on Jay Shetty's podcast this week
00:57 and the host read a letter that was written by Will
01:00 in which he reacts to reading "Worthy."
01:02 - "It is amazing to realize
01:04 that despite having lived most of my life by your side,
01:09 I still found myself shocked and stunned and caught off guard.
01:14 Laughing, then inspired, then heartbroken.
01:21 I was all over the place."
01:22 - In her book, Jada shared that she and Will
01:25 had been separated for six years
01:27 before his infamous Oscar slap in 2022.
01:30 Say what now, did I hear that okay?
01:31 That is shocking.
01:33 Will doesn't seem bothered at all.
01:35 He's chilling at sea with his notifications off.
01:38 Next, just one day before her death,
01:41 Suzanne Summers' husband, Alan Hamill,
01:43 paid tribute to his wife of over four decades
01:47 with this beautiful love letter.
01:49 The actress died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday,
01:52 the day before she was set to turn 77.
01:55 In his poem, Hamill wrote in part,
01:57 "There are no words, there are no actions,
01:59 no promises, no declarations.
02:01 We are one."
02:03 Since news of Summers' death,
02:04 Hollywood has continued to pay tribute to the star
02:07 who was once known for her roles on "Step by Step"
02:10 and "Three's Company."
02:12 All right, y'all, switching gears
02:13 to the rockstar wedding of the week.
02:15 Wolfgang Van Halen said I do to longtime love, Andrea Alsop.
02:19 It was such a sentimental wedding
02:22 and the pair made sure to include Wolfgang's dad,
02:24 Eddie Van Halen, who died in 2020
02:27 in small elements throughout the day.
02:29 He even had a song his father wrote for him play
02:32 as he walked down the aisle.
02:34 (gentle music)
02:36 And Wolfgang's mother, Valerie Bertinelli,
02:41 called seeing her son get married a beautiful gift.
02:45 Congratulations to the happy couple.
02:47 Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are our split of the week.
02:50 Oh, I did not see this coming, did you?
02:53 Morris filed divorce docs in Tennessee earlier this month
02:56 and she's citing irreconcilable differences.
02:59 The two share three-year-old son, Hayes.
03:01 Now, news of the split comes
03:03 as Morris is overhauling her career.
03:05 She's announced that she's leaving country music
03:07 due to feeling very, very distanced from the industry
03:10 and its politics.
03:11 The JoBro sisters may be a thing of the past.
03:16 So in an interesting turn of events,
03:17 Sophie Turner recently unfollowed Priyanka Chopra
03:20 on Instagram.
03:21 And shocker, Priyanka has unfollowed her back.
03:24 Now, this is amid Sophie's estranged relationship
03:26 with her husband and Priyanka's brother-in-law, Joe Jonas,
03:29 who reportedly filed to dismiss his divorce case
03:32 against Sophie.
03:33 Woo, the family drama is getting oh, so juicy.
03:35 Now, onto the burning question
03:38 that has continued to unite Swifties and Chiefs fans
03:41 or just about everyone.
03:42 And I know just who to call.
03:44 (phone ringing)
03:47 - Hey, Mika, what's up?
03:48 - All right, Janine, so we spoke a few weeks ago
03:50 and we've already established that these two are dating.
03:52 I mean, look at how sweet he is with her.
03:55 But where's this romance going?
03:56 And what is it about these two
03:58 that we just can't get enough of?
04:00 - I know, we cannot get enough, right?
04:02 But I wanna say we need to calm down.
04:04 (laughing)
04:05 See what I did there?
04:06 - Why?
04:07 You're doing too much.
04:08 - A source tells us they are giving this romance
04:11 a real try.
04:13 And you know, their schedules are hectic, they're crazy.
04:16 But they are making it work
04:18 and making time for each other.
04:19 And we can see that.
04:20 It's almost harder keeping track
04:21 of when they're not together these days.
04:23 - He seems really sweet with her, which I love.
04:26 - I know, and the way he opens the door for her
04:28 and helps her out.
04:30 I mean, guys, bring that back, please.
04:32 But like, she is different than any woman
04:35 that he has dated before.
04:36 Sources have told people that,
04:37 and his friends were actually surprised.
04:39 But he is so into her and just really, really happy.
04:43 - And he's not shy about like publicly supporting her.
04:46 - Yeah, so he liked an Instagram post
04:49 of her appearing on Saturday Night Live.
04:52 We all saw that happen.
04:54 They just pop up and they're so cute together.
04:56 - You know, they just make me happy.
04:57 I'm gonna predict the wedding.
04:59 - I love it.
04:59 - All right, Janay, thank you so much
05:01 for breaking this down for us.
05:03 - No problem, thanks, Mikaela.
05:05 - All right, now there's another duo
05:07 that's got our attention.
05:09 Sophia Bush and soccer star Ashlyn Harris
05:11 are this week's new couple alert.
05:13 Now a source says that the pair recently went out
05:15 on their first dinner date
05:17 and added that they are both beginning new chapters.
05:20 Their romance comes after they both split
05:22 from their spouses.
05:23 We wish them well.
05:24 We're continuing to throw it back
05:27 to some of our favorite pop culture memories
05:29 brought to you by Pepsi.
05:31 This week, we're throwing it back to Super Bowl XLIX,
05:34 specifically Katy Perry's Pepsi halftime show.
05:38 Because remember Left Shark's viral dance moves?
05:41 Back then, Katy's backup dancer got all the attention
05:44 as he danced a little bit off beat
05:46 amid the superstar's performance.
05:48 He basically broke the internet.
05:50 But these days, Left Shark, who actually goes by Brian Gaw,
05:54 has hung up his dancing fins, shoes,
05:57 and is now a hairdresser.
05:59 In February, he opened up about his performance
06:02 during sports most watched event
06:04 and scoffed at the notion he forgot his choreography
06:06 or veered off script.
06:08 He calls his viral bop a freestyle moment
06:11 and blames his oversized costume
06:13 for his lack of sharpness in his dance moves.
06:15 Come on, man, don't blame the costume.
06:17 Now it's the sit down.
06:20 Five questions with Mandy Moore.
06:22 Hi, Mandy.
06:23 I'm so excited to chat with you today.
06:25 I'm a huge fan.
06:26 But first, I have to ask about the fam.
06:28 I know you're a mom to two beautiful boys.
06:30 How are Gus and Ozzy doing?
06:32 - Gus and Ozzy are great, thank you.
06:35 Ozzy is almost one.
06:37 He's like right, he's on the precipice of walking.
06:40 Gus just started school
06:42 and everybody's like big changes in their lives.
06:46 - And how would you describe life at home these days?
06:48 - My husband and I just sort of turned to each other
06:51 the other day and we were like,
06:52 is it getting a little easier?
06:54 Like, I feel like we've turned this corner
06:56 in the last few weeks where Ozzy is just like
07:00 almost out of like that baby world
07:03 and Gus is feeling more and more independent
07:06 and like his own little person and having started school
07:09 and it just, I know that means that like we're in
07:12 for some crazy like sleep regression
07:15 or someone's gonna go through a growth spurt.
07:18 I don't know, something's about to make it
07:20 like way more challenging.
07:22 - I read an interview earlier and you said Gus
07:23 does not wanna hear mommy and daddy singing.
07:25 So what music is Gus into?
07:27 - His playlist is all over the map.
07:30 I mean, there's like a lot of Bruce Springsteen.
07:32 There's a lot of Warren Zeevon.
07:34 There's a ton of like Beatles and Joni Mitchell
07:36 and all kinds of stuff.
07:38 But yeah, I think he has eclectic taste
07:40 for a two and a half year old.
07:41 - You were diagnosed with atopic dermatitis a few years ago.
07:45 Walk us through that diagnosis
07:47 and how did it make you feel?
07:48 - So back in 2019, I noticed that my face
07:52 had a lot of dry, red, itchy, peely sort of spots.
07:56 And I figured because I was working a lot
08:00 and wearing a lot of makeup that perhaps
08:02 it had something to do with that.
08:03 Maybe it was an allergy.
08:05 And after I sort of threw, you know,
08:08 the kitchen sink at my face essentially,
08:11 I decided that since the symptoms were persisting,
08:13 it was important to go to the dermatologist.
08:15 And the dermatologist diagnosed me
08:17 with atopic dermatitis with eczema.
08:20 - Has this diagnosis changed the way
08:22 that you approach being on screen
08:23 and also just being in the spotlight?
08:25 - Well, I mean, I just think I was so uncomfortable
08:28 for a long time, especially someone whose job
08:31 sort of requires me to be on camera.
08:34 Obviously, I feel incredibly lucky
08:36 that my job also allows for my face to be covered
08:39 and professional makeup artists to work their magic,
08:42 but that doesn't take away from the discomfort
08:44 of like literally feeling like I wanted
08:46 to scratch my face off and having to be on camera
08:49 and trying to sort of be focused in the moment
08:51 and present and in a scene and just thinking like,
08:53 I am so uncomfortable right now.
08:56 I don't know what I'm gonna do.
08:58 So that's definitely like was a blow to my self-confidence.

09:46 are you the kind of person who looks back
