00:00Hey, it's People in 10 and Meghan Markle is back on the red carpet again, looking stunning
00:09and sustainable.
00:10This was at the Children's Hospital LA Gala when she rocked the same red Carolina Herrera
00:15gown she first wore in 2021 with that plunging neckline and front slit.
00:20But this time, Meghan ditched her dramatic train and sleek updo for her more casual open
00:25toed heels and flowing hair instead.
00:27She also praised the hospital, calling it quote, the best place in the world for kids
00:31needing care.
00:32Stylish, sweet, and making a difference?
00:35You nailed it girl.
00:37Meanwhile Taylor Swift rang in Monday Night Football with a brand new look that we predict
00:42everyone will be trying to copy in 3, 2, 1.
00:46Let's break it down.
00:47You've got the off-the-shoulder mini dress by Vivienne Westwood, kind of in Chiefs colors
00:52with red lines throughout the plaid, then chunky leather boots, hello fall, and glitter
00:58freckles with her signature red lip, which is always on point.
01:02And with her dad by her side as she cheered on her man, oh yeah, she could still make
01:06the whole place shimmer.
01:11And one day before that on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings made us feel like little kids again
01:15when 2Safety celebrated an interception from Jets QB Aaron Rodgers by recreating the iconic
01:22handshake from The Parent Trap.
01:23Cameron Bynum actually had this idea planned from the moment he found out he'd be playing
01:27in London.
01:28They even got the hip bumps and the side switcheroo.
01:31This is definitely Annie and Halle approved.
01:35Tell me Luke Bryan didn't go after our queen.
01:37We gotta find out what really happened.
01:39Let's call Jack.
01:40Hey Jack, what's up?
01:43Hey Jack, so did Luke Bryan really diss Beyonce?
01:47Because that sounds crazy to me.
01:49So out of context, it might look that way, but that's not exactly what happened.
01:53Okay, so let's start from the beginning.
01:55What brought this on?
01:56So this year's CMA Award nominations were announced last month.
01:59The show airs next month.
02:02And Beyonce was snubbed from the list.
02:03She had a huge country album this year with Cowboy Carter and with the single Texas Hold'em
02:10and she didn't receive a single nomination.
02:12So Luke Bryan then gave an interview to Sirius XM's Andy Cohen live show and he spoke about
02:19how Beyonce has a lot of fans and she made this big country album, but if she wants to
02:24get a nomination, she's gotta come into the family of country music and attend some of
02:30their events and shake a few hands.
02:32I can see how some people might have taken that out of context just a little bit, but
02:36I kinda get it.
02:37Yeah, so the beehive who is super dedicated to Beyonce totally had some thoughts about
02:42what Luke said and he came out with another statement saying that he has a lot of respect
02:47for Beyonce and he didn't mean for anything to be negative.
02:51He loved that Beyonce made a country album, he wants everyone to win and he wants to support
02:55other artists.
02:56Okay, so there's no actual feud here.
02:58Great.
02:59Thanks for clearing this up.
03:00Of course.
03:01Absolutely no feud there.
03:02Peace.
03:03This is one blooper that probably won't make the reel.
03:06So Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh have a sex scene in their new movie, We Live in
03:11Time, which apparently went a little further than it was supposed to.
03:15They were so passionate about shooting it that Andrew says neither of them even heard
03:19the director say cut.
03:21So they just kept going.
03:23Commitment to the craft right there I guess.
03:25And when they finally did come up for air, Andrew remembers the poor cameraman standing
03:30in the corner of the room looking at the wall.
03:33Awkward.
03:34Riley Keel made a promise to her mom before she died that she would make sure her memoir
03:38got published.
03:40And now that it's out, we're learning a lot about Lisa Marie Presley.
03:43Remember when she was married to Michael Jackson?
03:45He was 35 at the time.
03:47And despite kissing Tatum O'Neal, having a thing with Brooke Shields, and Madonna even
03:52trying to hook up with him, she says he went into their relationship still a virgin.
03:57And she was terrified of that because she quote, didn't want to make the wrong move.
04:02The memoir also shines a light on how she grieved the loss of her son Benjamin, who
04:06died by suicide in 2020.
04:08He was just 27.
04:09And his mom opted to keep his body at home on dry ice for two months afterward, according
04:14to Riley, so she could have ample time to say goodbye, like she had with her dad Elvis.
04:19They eventually buried Benjamin at Graceland, next to his grandfather.
04:23Then Lisa Marie died three years later at 54, after a one of a kind life.
04:29Bill Belichick had an eventful summer.
04:31One that made his relationship with 24-year-old Jordan Hudson go Insta-official.
04:35You're not crazy.
04:37Bill is 72, so yeah, that's a difference of 48 years, give or take.
04:43A huge age gap, one that even his ex-players Tom Brady and Gronk like to take jabs at.
04:49But hey, they had fun, and Bill's in his Swiftie era, I guess.
04:54This next one is a mixture of yikes and you go girl.
04:57This gal on TikTok, Maggie, is going viral after sharing her shortest first date ever
05:01story, which lasted, wait for it, less than two minutes.
05:07She met up with the guy, and after they went into the restaurant, this happened.
05:10He said, I'm not trying to offend you, but I'm just not feeling it.
05:14As she walked away, he even added, I'm sorry, it's your wait.
05:19Maggie was mortified, but she handled it like a boss.
05:22And tons of people have thanked her for sharing her experience.
05:25Moral of the story, love yourself first, and don't give up.
05:30And finally, how about a juicy little update?
05:33So Sheryl Hines is reportedly talking about filing for divorce.
05:37After those affair rumors between her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and journalist Olivia
05:42Nuzzi, sources tell us that Sheryl is angry and embarrassed by the whole situation.
05:47Who wouldn't be?
05:48They were actually seen together in Malibu recently, but they've barely spoken since
05:52the rumors broke last month.
05:54And get this, Sheryl has even been spotted without her wedding ring.
05:58But RFK is still wearing his, and apparently begging Sheryl to stay.
06:03Good luck with that, buddy.
06:04All right, Mako, you're up next.
06:07Take it away.
06:08Now, it's the sit down with Austin Stone.
06:10Hi, Austin.
06:11We're just days away from the premiere of NCIS Origins.
06:15Mark Harmon made this role iconic.
06:17He's also involved in the prequel and helped cast you as young Gibbs.
06:20How did that feel, knowing that he specifically thought you were right for it?
06:25It is, it's a tremendous honor.
06:28I knew that I had something that I could bring to the role.
06:32I knew I had something inside me that felt very Gibbs-esque.
06:36And so to be tapped to play the guy is absolutely a confidence booster.
06:45It's something that I take a lot of pride in.
06:49What did you focus on to get the essence of Leroy Jethro Gibbs?
06:52Are there expressions or gestures that you've adapted from Mark?
06:56I watched quite a bit of Mark's best episodes when I first got the audition.
07:03It was important to me to find out what the fans thought were his best episodes.
07:10And I went back and I watched those.
07:12And there are what I like to call Gibbisms.
07:18There are certain things that Mark does and they are different to his other characters
07:23that he's portrayed.
07:25And so I wanted to embody as much of that as I could and decide, OK, if this is day
07:33one with Gibbs, how many of these behaviors are innate to him and how many of them get
07:39learned over time?
07:41And so that was fun.
07:42Watch your step, Marine.
07:43You're on my squad?
07:44Nope.
07:45You're on mine.
07:46Joining such a beloved, longstanding franchise has to be a little overwhelming.
07:49I mean, fans have loved the show and the character for over 20 years.
07:53Did Mark give you any advice on navigating that?
07:56Well, you know, Mark has never been, hey, here's a piece of advice that I want to give
08:02to you.
08:04He has been available at all times.
08:08He's always a phone call away if he's not here on set with us.
08:12He always starts off his conversations with, do you need anything?
08:17That is so disarming.
08:18The guy is a global superstar.
08:21He could make it very uncomfortable for people to be around him.
08:25Certainly, I mean, for me, a guy who is stepping into the shoes of the character that he created
08:32and has become beloved.
08:35And for everybody else that's around here.
08:37And that goes for the crew.
08:39He treats everyone with such respect.
08:41And the first two words out of his mouth all the time are, do you need anything?
08:45As fans ourselves, we want to get to know our new Gibbs a little better.
08:48Ready for some rapid fire questions?
08:50Sure.
08:51You're an outdoorsy guy.
08:52What's your favorite hike you've ever done?
08:54Ned LeMond in New Zealand was one of the greatest days of my life.
08:58You once posted an epic 90s throwback for Mother's Day.
09:01If you could bring back one trend from the 90s, what would it be?
09:04Oh man, I just get rid of cell phones.
09:07And if we could, I know that's not really a trend.
09:11And I get it.
09:12Google Maps and Uber and all these things are a lot of fun.
09:15But I'm a believer that the world would be a little bit of a better place if we didn't
09:20have these computers on us all the time.
09:25I mean, shout out to Apple and everybody else that's doing great things with phones, but
09:31that's just me.
09:32Who's one co-star you'd love to work with again someday and why?
09:35Okay, because he's not on the show all the time.
09:39I would really love to work with Bobby Moynihan again.
09:42I just got to see him perform at the UCB the other night.
09:46He's, I mean, the guy is a comedic legend.
09:49Everybody knows Bobby Moynihan.
09:50Austin, are you single?
09:52We'll take a yes or a no.
09:53Yes.
09:54Yes.
09:55Okay, so what qualities do you look for in a potential partner?
09:59Kindness to strangers is very important to me.
10:02I think the way that someone treats someone on the street, you can really learn a lot
10:06about them in those moments.
10:08But at the moment, I'm in a relationship with a TV show.
10:12I am here Monday through Friday.
10:15I'm in a relationship with, remember those 300 people that I was telling you about?
10:20They are all my boyfriends and girlfriends.
10:22Finally, I'm going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
10:25Tell everyone why they should check out NCIS Origins.
10:27Ready?
10:28Go.
10:29NCIS Origins is going to be on at nine o'clock on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
10:36We hope you are really going to love it because we sure are proud of it.
10:41Austin, thank you so much for joining us today.
10:45We appreciate it.
