00:00 What is sustainability?
00:04 Sustainability is one of our pillars.
00:07 I like to describe it as our DNA.
00:10 We are a hybrid packaging supplier,
00:14 an expert in packaging,
00:17 who only looks at the product.
00:18 We do it in everything we do.
00:22 I always give two examples of certifications we have had recently.
00:26 The first is ECOVADIS Silver,
00:30 and the second is LEED Gold, for our new building.
00:34 It is very interesting,
00:36 because we went through a design process,
00:38 an old warehouse,
00:39 and completely rebuilt it.
00:41 Both in terms of design and construction,
00:43 we had all those crises,
00:44 because it was sustainable,
00:46 according to the crises of LEED,
00:48 which are quite constricting.
00:50 This is just one way of saying,
00:51 together with ECOVADIS,
00:52 which is a bit 360 degrees,
00:54 how we manage people and vendors,
00:57 which is our mantra,
00:59 in everything we do.
01:00 It is clear that when we have to start talking
01:02 about how things become real with our customers,
01:06 it becomes very easy for us to show it,
01:09 because we have Studio One Eleven inside,
01:11 which is our innovation engine,
01:13 through which we think of solutions
01:16 that are generally customized for our customers,
01:19 or personalized.
01:21 Specifically, they have all the characteristics of sustainability
01:24 that, rather than the regulations or the needs of the customer,
01:27 they must have.
01:29 So we have the possibility to spread
01:31 any type of material,
01:33 because we don't have a production site,
01:35 so we can talk about both glass, plastic and metal.
01:38 Together with the customer, step by step,
01:40 we cover the design, we cover the industrialization,
01:43 and if it is in the needs of the customer,
01:45 as we always recommend,
01:46 we also deal with the sustainability part.
01:48 I'll give you an example of Helium Mixology,
01:50 which we developed for a customer called Argotier,
01:53 who will be here today,
01:54 which is a product that is 70% made of recyclable materials,
01:57 it has what we call an eco-design,
01:59 so it was designed from the beginning to be lighter,
02:02 and then everything that cannot be done
02:05 from these two points of view,
02:06 is done through a partner that compensates for the difference.
02:10 A very similar job that we did
02:12 within the Tinder collection,
02:13 which is our latest wine collection,
02:15 we have a bottle called Aurelia,
02:17 which was also designed with these characteristics,
02:19 so it is very light,
02:20 made of 70% recycled material,
02:23 but above all, made with a European producer
02:26 that only uses renewable sources.
02:28 And we have also compensated for the rest,
02:30 where it is not possible,
02:32 because it is not technically possible.
02:34 Then, one of the last examples I'll give,
02:36 which has been very interesting for me,
02:37 is to not always talk about glass,
02:39 this year at VIN Italy,
02:41 we presented, together with Ceci,
02:43 who is an important partner of ours in the world of sparkling wine,
02:46 a bottle that has all the features
02:48 of the classic sparkling bottle,
02:50 but made of aluminum.
02:51 Aluminum is 100% recyclable,
02:54 but in this case,
02:55 it also has very interesting specific characteristics.
02:58 So, since the material is less thick,
03:01 it is less light,
03:03 in the same pallet there are more,
03:04 this is precisely the transport system,
03:06 and therefore CO2 has a very important impact.
03:08 And then, it must be said that,
03:10 even from a very practical point of view,
03:12 being a driver,
03:13 it takes us much less to become cold,
03:16 and so, even there,
03:17 it is a non-indifferent energy saving.
03:19 So, these are all examples that I always give,
03:22 to show, on the one hand,
03:24 our general behavior,
03:26 and on the other hand,
03:27 much more practical with our customers.
