01:25 India will also be included as a partner state of ASEAN.
01:29 And the Indian Ambassador is also positive that the result of the summit will be good.
01:36 Meanwhile, regarding the issue of rice, Ambassador Kumaran said that there is ongoing communication between the Philippines and India
01:44 regarding the issue of rice importation, which is expected to help the supply of our country,
01:50 even though they are still waiting for the so-called negotiation to be finalized.
01:55 Let's listen to Ambassador Kumaran's statement.
01:59 The MOU covers the entire domain of Coast Guard to Coast Guard engagement.
02:06 But maritime law enforcement, maritime search and rescue, and maritime pollution response
02:12 was – these are the key areas that were highlighted in the conversation.
02:17 We also had the first ever bilateral meeting between our two Coast Guards in Delhi during Admiral Abu's visit.
02:24 It was a very useful meeting.
02:26 Obviously, I also had a couple of opportunities to meet the Coast Guard Commandant here and to sort of develop the agenda for this visit.
02:37 Audrey, for now, India is hoping that the good partnership of the two countries will continue
02:44 because they are continuing their talks and discussions on other aspects of society. Audrey?
02:51 You mentioned the strengthening of the partnership between the Philippines and India.
02:56 Are there any meetings planned for the next time, the heads of states of the two countries?
03:03 Audrey, earlier in the press conference, we were also asked, because we know that there are really different invitations
03:15 that President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. receives from his counterparts in different countries.
03:21 That's why we were also asked earlier if there is a pending invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
03:26 to President Marcos to visit India.
03:29 As of now, according to Indian Ambassador Kumaran, they are still waiting for an invitation from both leaders to visit their countries.
03:39 But Audrey, next year, it will be the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between the Philippines and India.
03:47 And the Ambassador's view is positive that the two countries will have a different relationship regarding this. Audrey?
03:56 Did Ambassador Kumaran mention the exploration achievement of India?
04:07 Yes, Audrey. Earlier, India's moon exploration achievement was part of the press conference.
04:14 And what they are saying is that they also have sun exploration that they will do.
04:20 And Audrey, what India is saying is that this is important, not only a milestone for them, but for the whole world.
04:27 Because whatever will be the consequences of this, what will be the good effect,
04:32 if they get important information, we will benefit from it.
04:36 But for now, they are still studying what will be the benefits for our world.
04:42 And they will share that with other countries. Audrey?
04:46 Thank you very much, Mela Lasmoras.
