00:00The authorities found that more than Php 18 million of smuggled cigarettes
00:06were found in two cargo trucks in Parang Town, Maguindanao, Del Norte Province.
00:10According to Lt. Col. Erwin Tabora, the chief of Parang Municipal Police Station,
00:15they were able to tip a concerned citizen about the suspicious activity
00:20that was taking place near the two parked trucks.
00:24Under the joint operation of Parang MPS,
00:27the authorities were able to tip the two abandoned trucks
00:31and the 490 boxes of assorted smuggled cigarettes.
00:36At the moment, the police are currently in custody
00:39of the smuggled contraband for documentation and proper disposition.
