00:00The Beyond the Limits program of Project Empower is now in full swing.

00:04It aims to promote inclusivity for persons with disabilities.

00:09Daryl Ocleres has the details.

00:15Project Empower launched the Beyond the Limits program

00:18that aims to promote inclusivity for persons with disabilities.

00:22The project became the center of giving opportunities

00:26for PWDs to take part in sports such as Filipino Games and Adaptive Basketball.

00:33In an interview with Project Empower's founder, J.D. Castro,

00:38he also said that PWDs can also take part in the field of sports.

00:44This is in support with the Philippine Sports Commission

00:47so that we can give grassroots levels of opportunity to PWDs without access.

00:53So we created this program for adaptive athletes

00:56so that we can give grassroots level of opportunity to those who are not given that opportunity

01:01so that we can choose and give them opportunities.

01:04Then we will bring them to the Paralympics.

01:07Castro also sent a message to PWDs

01:11that it is also nice to be a part of Beyond the Limits.

01:14To our friends with disabilities and in the disability sector,

01:17I am asking everyone to help each other

01:21so that we can give opportunities to our PWD friends.

01:26According to actor Gerald Anderson,

01:29he continues to support programs for PWDs

01:34such as Adaptive Fitness and Rehabilitation, which he also started.
