00:00The Beyond the Limits program was formally launched by Project Empower

00:05which aims to promote inclusivity for persons with disabilities.

00:09This is what Daryl Oclares reported.

00:13Project Empower launched the Beyond the Limits program

00:17which aims to promote inclusivity for persons with disabilities

00:20for PWDs who joined sports such as Filipino Games and Adaptive Basketball.

00:27In an interview with Project Empower's founder JD Castro,

00:32he said that PWDs with disabilities can also join the program.

00:38This is in support with the Philippine Sports Commission

00:41so that we can give grassroots levels of opportunity to PWDs with no access.

00:47So we created this program for adaptive athletes

00:50so that those who are not given the opportunity

00:53we can give a grassroots approach so that they can choose and have an opportunity

00:58then we will bring them to the Paralympics.

01:01Castro also sent a message to PWDs that it is also nice to be a part of Beyond the Limits.

01:08To our friends with disabilities and in the disability sector,

01:11I am asking everyone to help each other

01:15and join together so that we can give an opportunity to our PWD friends.

01:20According to actor Gerald Anderson,

01:23he continues to support programs for PWDs

01:27such as Adaptive Fitness and Rehabilitation which he also started today.

01:33It's a win-win situation.

01:35At the end of the day, I'm in the private sector

01:39that's why I built the gym for business purposes.

01:41But if at the same time you can also give help,

01:44helping and giving back always inspires me.

01:47It's like my motivation is being renewed.

01:51Beyond the Limits is expected to end

01:54and Project Empower will continue its mission

01:57to promote inclusivity for our persons with disabilities.
