00:20 The 36-year-old police officer has been travelling from school to school

00:24 giving motivational talks in a bid to battle racial prejudices.

00:29 Indeed, what started out as a stopgap role has turned full-time for Azmil.

00:34 At first, I was helping, but I didn't expect it to go this far.

00:40 So, maybe that's why people say I'm a rock.

01:13 I have a strong voice, so I used discipline to teach the robot dance.

01:23 Despite his imposing figure, Azmil has managed to foster relations with his young audience

01:28 due to his prowess in several languages.

01:31 He is able to converse in Chinese and Tamil

01:34 which helps him communicate better with the students.

01:37 Azmil said his efforts appear to have paid off

01:40 with many students now mingling more freely with their peers.

01:44 On Merdeka Day, he hopes that all Malaysians will set aside their differences

01:48 and fully focus on fostering unity and cultural diversity.
