00:02 This is our doll backstage dressing room.
00:23 We started with a cardboard box,
00:25 just as we did for our doll art room video.
00:27 Only this time, I glued two pieces of cardboard to the side.
00:31 Then we covered it with paper and added a few printables.
00:34 Using a mirror scrapbook paper,
00:36 we made a mirror for the dressing table,
00:39 then added a strip of gold scrapbook paper
00:41 and beads across the top for vanity lights.
00:43 We made a printable with movie posters,
00:46 drama textbooks, and small playbooks.
00:49 We cut and glued the movie posters to the wall,
00:52 cut small rectangles from a cereal box,
00:54 stack and glued them together
00:56 until they are the same width as the spine of the book,
00:59 then glue on the cover.
01:00 And I kinda like doing the books this way
01:02 more so than using the cardboard
01:04 because it makes for a sturdier book
01:06 and it looks a little bit more like pages all around.
01:08 Cut out the playbooks and a small piece of paper,
01:11 then line them up and fold them in half.
01:14 Remove the inside paper to apply glue to the spine,
01:18 then glue it inside the playbook.
01:20 We added outlets to our classroom door printable,
01:23 cut them out, then glue them to the walls.
01:27 Using skinny sticks, ribbon, and glue,
01:29 cut the bottom of four skinny sticks at an angle,
01:32 take two, make an X, and glue them into place,
01:36 making sure that the top is wider than the doll's hips.
01:39 Using the first X as a guide, I make another one,
01:42 cut and glue two skinny sticks in the shape of an L,
01:46 glue a small piece at the end,
01:48 and another one connecting the two.
01:50 Repeat to make two, glue the bottom corners
01:53 to the top of the X, glue the other X to the back,
01:57 glue two cut skinny sticks at the bottom to brace the legs,
02:01 wrap and glue ribbon around the back for the backrest,
02:04 then glue on a wider piece of ribbon for the seat
02:07 to make a director's chair.
02:09 Using popsicle sticks, skinny sticks, toothpicks,
02:12 and a wooden dowel, cut the ends off of a popsicle stick,
02:16 glue skinny sticks on top to connect two of the ends,
02:19 cut a wooden dowel, glue it between the popsicle sticks,
02:23 we glued it to the wall, then glued cut toothpicks
02:26 to brace it to make a clothes rack with overhead storage.
02:30 And the plastic hangers, those are a fun find
02:33 that we found in this paper doll dress up
02:35 kit from the dollar store.
02:36 Each pack came with six plastic hangers.
02:39 We can also choose to make them using our hanger tutorial
02:42 and a shaved pipe cleaner, just in case we need a few more.
02:45 Using scrap fabric, felt, cardboard, skinny sticks,
02:49 and glue, line up four skinny sticks, cut, and glue pieces
02:53 to the ends.
02:54 Repeat to make two, measure, cut, glue together
02:59 two pieces of cardboard that are slightly wider than the sticks,
03:02 cover with felt, fabric, cut, and glue more skinny sticks
03:07 at the ends, glue on the second set of skinny sticks,
03:10 halfway up, glue the covered cardboard to the top,
03:14 glue a few more skinny sticks around the top edge
03:17 to make a bench with a shoe rack underneath.
03:20 To give the wood a little shine, I
03:22 brush it with a Mod Podge paint mixture.
03:25 Once dry, we filled it with our doll's favorite shoes.
03:28 Add accessories from previous videos,
03:30 like how to make a doll hat box purse,
03:32 how to make a doll flat iron, how to make doll health
03:35 and beauty items, how to make doll makeup, a hairbrush
03:38 and hand mirror from our Ever After High Getting
03:41 Fairest Doll Review, and you're done.
03:43 Happy crafting.

05:11 Oh, well, since Chloe left, in her absence,
05:17 I am going to assume that she has given permission for me
05:21 to borrow whatever I want, like her new jacket.
05:26 Oh, yeah.
05:27 We want to give a shout out to I Love Elsa Frozen on Instagram.
05:31 What's up?
05:33 Who knew it was possible to be this fabulous?
