00:00 I usually use the Hourglass Mineral Primer and that's really good for people with oily skin.
00:05 But because I'm in Sydney and visiting Brittany, I'm going to use the one that she uses which is the It Cosmetics
00:10 Serum Collagen Veil.
00:13 I'm just going to put that evenly on her face. Usually, I just dot it everywhere and then blend it all together with a brush.
00:22 But I don't have that brush, so I'm just going to blend it in with a beauty blender.
00:27 And keep in mind guys, Jazz would normally do things maybe a bit more professionally,
00:33 but we're just here in my house and using my makeup and stuff.
00:36 So we're just using what I have. I don't have a big kit.
00:40 So the foundations that I
00:43 normally would use in my kit is the MAC Studio Fix.
00:46 I just think that this foundation suits every single skin type, whether it's oily, dry or combo.
00:51 And most of the feedback from my clients say that it lasted all night.
00:57 And it just looked amazing. So MAC Studio Fix is definitely a must-have in your kit.
01:03 So I'm going to use NC30 on Brittany because she's really, really tanned.
01:07 And once again,
01:10 I'm applying that with a damp beauty blender.
01:12 Make sure you get the ears as well because I've seen some shockers.
01:22 Like I actually have, yeah. Oh yeah, and the earring. Just make sure you actually apply it. It's like hanging off now.
01:28 I have like the worst earlobes.
01:30 I personally like to go over the lips because, I don't know,
01:49 I just think when you put lip liner and lipstick on, it just looks more polished.
01:54 So I like to put the foundation over the lips. Do you really? Yeah.
01:58 And you leave it on there? Yeah, until I do like lip liner and lipstick. And you put the lip liner over the top of that?
02:05 Yeah. That's so random. It just acts as like a base to your lipstick.
02:10 Obviously, make sure you blend down the neck and behind the ear because,
02:16 you know, obvious reasons. Okay, so for concealer underneath the eyes, I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me in the lightest shade.
02:23 And I'm just placing this
02:26 in a triangle
02:29 underneath her eye. You actually need quite a bit of this product
02:33 for coverage. Really? Yeah.
02:38 Because when I use a little bit of it, it doesn't really work. What are you saying? That I've got lots of like
02:44 blemishes. And then I like to go over the eyelid and this acts as a primer. I don't know,
02:50 I just like using concealer as primers.
02:52 I don't really like the MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot because it's really thick and I don't know,
02:59 I just don't really like it. Have you used it? No.
03:01 Everyone loves it, but I'm not a fan. And then I'm just blending that in.
03:09 Look up.
03:12 So, what I like to use to set that concealer is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit.
03:29 And I just like to take a mixture of the banana shade and the lighter shade on my ELF blush brush.
03:35 So I'm going to get you to look up.
03:39 And packing that product on. I actually like to use quite a bit of product when I'm setting the concealer so it doesn't crease.
03:47 By the way, this is like a
03:53 glam going out full coverage
03:56 makeup look. Obviously, you wouldn't want to wear this if you're just going shopping or whatever. But yeah, just clearing that up.
04:03 Close.
04:07 And then I just like to set the concealer too.
04:11 And then to set the rest of her face, I'm using my Australis Fresh and Flawless Face Powder in Darkest Brown.
04:16 As you already know, I love this stuff and I have every single shade for my kit and I would highly recommend it.
04:23 I've used so many other brands of setting powder and I think this one works the best.
04:29 So yeah.
04:31 So I'm just dabbing it on. Make sure when you do this, you don't do this. Otherwise, you're just taking off the foundation and it defeats the purpose.
04:39 So for brows, what I usually use is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Brow Kit.
04:44 And that has a kit with just heaps of different shades of eyebrow product.
04:51 But for now, I'm just using the Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Coco Bear.
04:58 Nope, I'm using Mocha.
05:01 So after I've filled in the brow, I like to go underneath and carve it with some light concealer.
05:16 So I'm just using a Maybelline Fit Me and a concealer brush.
05:19 And this is what makes a brow look like it just got freshly threaded.
05:25 So this is the secret.
05:29 So usually I would start off at the tail and I would just map out where the arch is and make it a bit darker at the tail.
05:41 And if they need, I like to extend the brow as well.
05:46 Then when I get to the beginning of the brow, I do the line and then I just drag the product up.
05:53 Go underneath it again.
05:55 So for contouring and bronzing, I use the Hoola by Benefit.
06:01 This one has been taken out of a holiday pack.
06:04 So I've just put it in a Z palette just for traveling and stuff.
06:07 So I'm going to go in with this one on this brush, which came with Hoola.
06:12 And then what I just like to do is start off at the top of the head and make my way down to the side of the mouth.
06:25 What you want to do is drag the product up, not down, because otherwise that'll just defeat the purpose of the illusion of a cheekbone.
06:41 Okay, in circular motions, dragging the product upwards.
06:49 That looks better.
06:52 I'm going to drag some underneath her jaw, under her chin.
07:08 And then I'm just going to bronze up the forehead area.
07:12 Okay, so the blush that I'm going to use is this one by Makeup Geek and it's in the shade Bliss.
07:27 It's just a nice coral blush.
07:29 So I'm just going to grab that on a brush and get the client to smile.
07:36 No.
07:38 And just placing that on the apples of the cheeks and bringing it up to the sides of the temples.
07:47 Now I'm going to contour her nose and I'm going to use this Jessup large fluff brush.
07:53 And you can get these from eBay in sets for like $10, so they're really, really good.
07:59 So what I'm going to do is just start off defining the bridge.
08:06 I don't really go overly excessive with the nose contour, but I think it does tie the face together.
08:15 So now I'm just diffusing the lines so they don't look sharp.
08:20 And I just use a big powder brush for that.
08:25 So now for my favorite bit, highlighter.
08:28 So I'm going to use the MAC Soft and Gentle on the Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighting brush.
08:35 Okay, so I'm going to pop that on the highest points of her cheekbones.
08:42 So just like that.
08:45 Underneath her brow, above her arch, all the way everywhere, pretty much.
08:53 Looks all fleek on the camera.
09:03 Good.
09:04 On her cupid's bow, tip of her nose, and this will make her nose appear more lifted.
09:11 And then just sweeping the rest on the bridge.
09:15 That highlighter looks on point on my lip.
09:19 So this is basically the palette of eyeshadows that I use on almost every single client.
09:25 Especially these two for the transition shades.
09:28 So this is Creme Brulee by Makeup Geek.
09:31 This one's a Morphe Brushes eyeshadow.
09:33 I'll leave a link down below.
09:35 I don't know what color it is.
09:37 This one is Shimmer Shimmer.
09:39 And then these ones are the ones that I use mostly, which is Mocha, Bitten, and Sienna by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
09:48 So the brushes that I use are mainly Jessup, Zoeva, and Sigma.
09:53 I absolutely love this Jessup brush.
09:55 And it is the 217.
09:57 I think it's supposed to be a ripoff of the MAC one, but it actually doesn't look anything alike.
10:01 It's just a really, really big fluffy brush.
10:04 And I'm going to go in with this Morphe Brushes eyeshadow and then a little bit of Sienna.
10:10 And I'm just going to start off by warming up the crease area.
10:14 Like so.
10:17 These eyeshadows blend like a dream, as you can see.
10:20 It just looks like it blend for me.
10:24 It looks like it...
10:32 It looks like...
10:34 Can you speak English?
10:35 No.
10:36 It looks like it blend for me.
10:44 Close.
10:46 It looks like it blend for me.
10:50 Okay, look this way, please.
10:52 Close.
10:53 Okay, so because Brittany has hooded eyes, what I'm going to do is, as you can see, when she opens, I want to be able to see the eyeshadow above her crease.
11:02 So that's what the plan is.
11:04 Close.
11:05 To take the eyeshadow higher.
11:07 Is that what you're saying?
11:09 Yep.
11:10 Only a tad.
11:11 Otherwise, you won't be able to see the eyeshadow.
11:13 This way.
11:15 Okay, so now that the transition color is applied, I'm going to go in with this color, which is called Hot Chocolate by Anastasia Beverly Hills.
11:28 And I'm just applying it with a flat shader brush.
11:32 And because she wants it quite dramatic, I'm just applying that all over her lid.
11:36 So when you're packing on a darker color, make sure you don't go above the crease because that's when you're going to look like you got punched in the eye.
11:44 So you're just wanting to pack it on like that.
11:49 It doesn't have to be neat or anything.
11:52 So once that's applied, I'm just taking a bit more of Sienna and using that to blend the transition shade and the lid shade together.
12:03 I'm just taking the concealer brush with the concealer that was left over from the eyebrows
12:29 and just creating a line from the corner of the eye up to the brow.
12:34 So it kind of looks a little bit more precise.
12:39 So I go on the other side.
12:41 I don't usually do this, but with smoky eyes like this, I think it looks good.
12:46 And it's just a nice guideline for the eyeliner.
12:50 Okay, so the eyeliner I like to use is the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in Black.
12:57 And I like to apply that with the Zoeva Winged Liner Brush, which just looks like this.
13:02 It's just really narrow and thin and perfect for winged liner.
13:06 Mix it together.
13:08 Okay, so then close your eyes.
13:11 Just get the client to close.
13:13 And what I'm going to do first is just the line.
13:16 Make sure you don't do it too thick, especially with people with hooded eyes.
13:22 Otherwise, when they open up their eyes, all you're going to see is the eyeliner.
13:27 So after that's done, I'm going to get you to look straight ahead.
13:36 So this is just easier for me when I'm mapping out the wing.
13:40 So looking straight ahead and what I'm going to do is map out the wing.
13:52 So like that.
13:53 And the top, I literally just drag it down.
13:58 So now I'm going to do the bottom lash line.
14:21 So I'm going to get you to look up.
14:23 I'm just taking the chocolate brown color.
14:27 Jazz wanted to put eyeliner in my waterline, but it makes my eyes waterline crazy.
14:33 So we're skipping that part.
14:35 Yeah, usually what I would do is I would put black in the waterline,
14:39 especially with clients with blue or green eyes, because I just think that makes it pop.
14:46 But this is an alternative way.
14:50 Now I'm just using Sienna, which is what I used in the crease, and blending that out.
14:59 Okay, now usually what I would use for mascara is a spoolie,
15:03 so I would have disposable mascara wands, but I'm just going to use Brittany's mascara for this.
15:09 So looking down, this is just the Essence I Love Extreme.
15:15 And what I like to do when I apply mascara is I get the client to look down,
15:19 open their eyelid, and then just place the mascara on like that.
15:26 Okay, so for eyelashes, what I usually use is Model Rock lashes.
15:30 So I basically buy the bulk set of 50 for $100, but because I'm not at home,
15:36 I don't have them with me, so I'm just going to use a pair of Brittany's lashes.
15:40 Do you know which ones they are?
15:42 No. Well, they're just looking like this.
15:44 They're just wispy.
15:46 The lash glue I use is the Duo Lash Glue.
15:49 I love this stuff because it dries clear, and it is pretty strong.
15:54 So I'm just putting that on like this.
15:59 Why don't you have that other one you like?
16:02 Right now?
16:04 Another lash glue that I like is the House of Lashes lash glue
16:08 because it comes in a tube with a little brush, so it's so easy to put on.
16:14 But this one's also really good.
16:17 Okay, so I'm waiting at least 30 seconds to a minute for this to dry.
16:22 It just makes it easier for the lashes to stick.
16:26 Okay, so now I'm going to get you to look down,
16:29 and then I place it on the outer.
16:33 Please don't water.
16:36 And then to the inner.
16:41 Okay, so now I'm going to take Soft and Gentle and place that on the inner corners.
16:49 So I'll look up.
16:52 I just think this makes the look, to be honest.
16:57 All right, so for lips, I'm going to go in with MAC Saw Lip Liner.
17:05 And then I'm just going to go in and fill in her lips with Velvet To-Do,
17:24 which is my favorite.
17:27 It's just slightly more of a browner tone than the lip liner.
17:35 So this is the completed look.
17:40 I hope you guys enjoyed it and learned a few tips and tricks.
17:43 If you'd like to see more videos like this with people with different face shapes,
17:47 eye shapes, lip shapes, eyebrows.
