00:00 Hey guys, so today. I'm going to show you how to create this smoky eyes
00:04 Makeup look I hope you guys enjoy this video
00:07 So yeah, let's get to it. So the first step to this look is to obviously use foundation
00:14 So what my foundation is Clinique's perfectly real makeup
00:20 I finally got one that's a little bit more to my skin tone at the moment
00:25 So I'm going to apply that
00:29 on this side
00:31 So today, so after I apply my foundation. I'm going to apply a
00:45 shadow
00:48 Like an eyeshadow primer. I'm using Too Faced shadow insurance
00:54 But you can use any shadow primer that you have so I'm gonna put that on real quick. Just use a small amount
01:00 because it is just your eyelids and there's not a lot of room there
01:02 All right now that I have my
01:08 Eyeshadow on I am going to now start with the actual eyeshadow now the color my color combo
01:16 I'm actually using Too Faced
01:18 Smoky eye, I'm using the
01:20 first row the day row
01:23 it's a
01:25 like maybe brownish silver not like brownish silver more like a
01:31 Nudish shimmery kind of like nude color
01:36 Then there's this like golden brown and then a dark brown
01:41 So first step is I'm going to use a big fluffy brush to apply the light
01:49 firefly on here
01:52 Big one I'm going to apply that all over my eyes from my brow bone to my
01:57 I'm excuse me for using the small mirror. It's just because I can't find my
02:15 mirror as I've explained in my
02:17 first video
02:22 I can't I don't know where anything is
02:25 All right now that we've got that our base shadow I guess we could call it
02:37 I'm going to take a smaller thinner brush
02:42 Like this and I'm going with in the golden brown color
02:47 It on here is called close, and I'm just going to apply that on to my
02:51 lid
02:53 All right now that I have that
03:08 Applied it now. I'm going to I know that I have my clothes my golden eyeshadow on I'm going to
03:16 Take a smaller brush like this, and it's more tightly
03:21 more tight
03:23 I'm going to apply that darker
03:25 Up and smoke into my crease and kind of creating like a wing effect
03:30 So it's like onto the crease
03:34 and then like this
03:36 Alright as you can see this is just a teeny bit too dark for me, so I'm going to go in with a q-tip and sort of
04:01 Touch it up real quick, so let me do that
04:04 All right with that same brush you're going to take the clothes and kind of go again over your
04:19 Lid just so you get that color
04:26 All right
04:28 Take my big fluffy brush again and just touch up with the firefly just so I make the
04:35 Dark Brown a little lighter
04:38 Me and so I feel in any baby
04:42 from I'm a
04:45 Yoda and the reason why I'm using the big fluffy brush
04:48 You know I don't even know
04:51 Overuse it if I were to use a smaller brush
04:53 So that don't get nervous
04:56 Tightly compacted bristles or whatever they're called
05:00 So I've got the eyeshadow done
05:03 This is I just love using this palette because it's super simple and three different colors to give you this really great
05:10 smoky eyes and if you ever
05:12 And they also have in this little pocket
05:16 Here they have little papers to kind of show you how to do it if
05:22 You don't want to look up tutorials in the morning or whenever you're doing this
05:28 So my next step is taking my black gel eyeliner and applying that I'm going to apply it on
05:35 so it's more like
05:38 why I'm using the gel is because it's more precise and
05:41 It gives us better because we're going to be adding a little wing to the eyeliner, so it kind of helps you accomplish that as well
05:55 So after you apply it in line, I'm actually going to go into the very corner of my eye and
06:00 Follow it through so it kind of intensifies the smoky. I look that we're trying to achieve
06:23 All right, so as you can see it definitely intensifies the look just a tad kind of use it more of an extreme
06:30 Fish thing so now we're going to do
06:34 Put our eyeliner on our waterline, and then we'll start with the win
06:39 So I'm gonna apply it to both waterlines so and then come back to you
06:50 All right now that we have the waterline on I'm going to
06:54 Teach you how to do a wing with the eyeliner what I usually do is
06:59 Don't apply it onto the actual side of the brush, but I'm a very tip
07:04 So like right where like it creates more of an even line kind of like that
07:10 So it doesn't matter how much you got to be careful. You don't want to grab too much
07:17 Because it all smear and make it look a little bad
07:21 So we have it on these tips
07:25 I don't know if you can tell because I need to clean the brush
07:27 But then we're going to go from the corner right here and just bring it out
07:34 We don't want to bring it out too far
07:36 It's also just to help with the
07:38 Wing of that so just there you go like that little simple
07:46 You can go as how short or far you want you don't want to go past your eyebrow eyebrow corner
07:53 But I definitely also there's a tip of using any like
07:59 straight surface like business cards to do that if you're not confident of free handing it definitely use that because
08:08 It's you get a more precise look
08:11 So we do that on the side. I still got a heavy
08:13 Okay, so now that I have my eyeliner done. I'm going to apply my mascara
08:25 Now I've showed you guys this in many videos. I always
08:30 Before I put on my mascara. I curl them and I put on a eye
08:36 Mascara base mine is by long comb. I live by this stuff. It makes my lashes so much longer
08:42 And so much fuller. They just add an extra oomph to your mascara, which I absolutely love
08:49 Especially when you curl it. It just it makes everything so much easier
08:54 I prefer doing curling my lashes before but that's again optional
09:04 And to kind of get my lashes a little bit more curled
09:07 I'll also go about halfway up the lashes as well and curl that so it gives it more of a
09:13 More of a curl than it would just curling it straight by the base
09:18 All right, so now that my eyelashes are curled I'm going to apply my base real quick. I need to get some more
09:31 All right now that I have that applied I'm going to do my mascara. I'm using scandalized retro glam this time
09:39 Fairly cheap at any drugstore. I got this at I think Walmart. I know you can get it wherever
09:47 You can find it. It's by Rommel. It's like my orange one, but it's a different brush
09:53 Which I kind of like because it gives it more of a shape
09:56 I'm going to apply it like that and then we will be all done
09:59 All right, so there is my mascara applied now
10:07 I just realized I have a little bit of streaking on both eyes, so I'm going to touch that up
10:12 All right there we go now
10:17 I'm going to throw on my glasses so I can see just a tad better and
10:21 For the final step. I'm going to apply a red lipstick mine is the mat
10:27 By L'Oreal it's a red a little bit of a brighter look. I love using red with a dark
10:33 I because it just kind of it just kind of gives it a little pop of color that you need
10:39 I love and I absolutely love these lip pens because they kind of have like a shape to them and they're like
10:47 Pencil so I don't have to line my lips you of course can do that if you want
10:51 I don't because I don't really I usually just follow the shape of my own look
10:57 All right, so there's the red lipstick
11:14 As you can see it just adds a teeny bit of pop of color, so it's not too dark
11:18 I personally love it, so I'm going to
11:21 quickly do my hair and
11:24 Hey guys, so this is the finished look all I did was
11:29 Straighten my hair a little bit, and then just kind of toss with it with my hair with my fingers
11:34 so give it gave it more of a
11:36 tussle like
11:39 Messy look more like a rugged. I guess and I added a little glitter because why not?
