00:02 Hi everyone.
00:10 I just wanted to welcome you guys
00:12 to my first YouTube video.
00:14 Yes, it is that special.
00:16 You are that important that you're watching it.
00:19 I'm very excited for the makeup look
00:20 I'm gonna show you guys today.
00:22 It is a teal eyeshadow look.
00:24 It has some lime green in the inner corners
00:26 and I paired it with a pink lip,
00:28 but you can do a nude lip or whatever you want.
00:32 But today I just want it to be colorful
00:34 and bright and positive.
00:36 And if you like this makeup look,
00:38 then please keep on watching
00:39 and don't forget to subscribe.
00:41 So first off, I'm taking this Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance,
00:44 which is a really good eyeshadow primer
00:46 that's gonna make the eyeshadows last all day long
00:48 and look way more vibrant and just pop.
00:51 Now I'm taking this orangey brown eyeshadow shade from MAC
00:55 on a fluffy blending brush
00:57 and I'm gonna be putting it into the crease
00:59 and really focus on blending this
01:02 because it's gonna be a transition shade
01:04 between of course the highlight and our actual lid color.
01:07 So it's really important to just blend it out
01:10 to make that smoky effect that we want.
01:14 Also, I'm gonna be putting the name of the eyeshadows
01:16 in the description box below.
01:18 All right, so now I'm gonna be taking this blue eyeshadow
01:20 from the Sephora Collection palette,
01:22 which is actually a limited edition palette
01:24 that they usually sell for the holidays.
01:27 But anyways, I'm packing it on the lid
01:29 and this is gonna be a really important color
01:31 because it basically is what makes the look stand out.
01:34 Now we're gonna go back with the fluffy blending brush
01:40 and I didn't put any more eyeshadow on it.
01:42 I'm just really focusing on blending the blue
01:45 and the brown together.
01:50 Now I'm gonna be taking this brownish purple eyeshadow,
01:55 also from MAC.
01:56 It's gonna be on a denser brush this time
01:58 and I'm not gonna take it into the crease.
02:01 It's gonna be mostly focused on the outer V
02:03 to really give the look more dimension.
02:05 And just because I love blending so much,
02:17 I decided to go back with the fluffy blending brush
02:19 and again, blending out the outer corner.
02:23 Now I'm taking this purple, really sparkly eyeshadow shade
02:27 from the Sephora Collection palette
02:29 on this sort of pointier brush
02:32 and I'm making a sort of triangle shape, you could say.
02:35 I'm just really focusing it on the outer V
02:38 and then winging it out
02:39 and really making it into sort of a cat eye shape
02:42 and this is really gonna complete the look.
02:48 Now we're going back to that orangy brown eyeshadow
02:50 from before on the fluffy blending brush
02:53 and again, you are putting it back into the crease
02:57 because it sort of got lost with the other shades
02:59 that we put in there.
03:00 So we're just gonna put it back to really make it stand out.
03:04 Also, this really helps blend out those outer corners.
03:07 Now we're taking the blue eyeshadow,
03:09 again from the Sephora Collection palette
03:11 and we're gonna repack it on
03:13 so it doesn't get lost with the other colors that we put on
03:16 and it really stands out.
03:18 (upbeat music)
03:21 Because I didn't think that this look was sparkly enough,
03:30 I took this teal eyeshadow from Coastal Scents.
03:33 It actually came in a sample
03:34 along with these other palettes that I bought.
03:36 It is beautiful and I just put it right in the middle
03:40 to really make it pop.
03:44 Now I'm taking this lime green sort of yellow eyeshadow,
03:48 again from the Sephora Collection palette
03:50 and I'm putting it right into the inner corner
03:52 and it's a really nice contrast with the blue.
03:54 (upbeat music)
03:58 And again, because I want everything
04:09 to just be brighter and better,
04:12 I took the MAC Fix Plus and I wet my brush with it
04:16 and I repacked on the color.
04:18 You can also do this with water
04:20 if you don't have the MAC Fix Plus,
04:22 whatever works for you.
04:23 Now I'm taking this matte beige eyeshadow from MAC
04:32 and I'm gonna use it as a highlight shade
04:34 and I'm popping it right into the brow bone
04:36 and I'm really blending it into the transition shade.
04:40 (upbeat music)
04:43 Now taking that same transition shade
04:45 we were just talking about,
04:46 I'm gonna put it on the under part of my eye,
04:50 under part, I'm not sure what that's called,
04:52 but anyways, I'm taking it on a dense brush
04:54 but I'm also blending it out
04:56 because basically whatever we did on the top part
04:58 of the eyelid, we're gonna do on the bottom.
05:01 (upbeat music)
05:10 So now taking that same black, purple, sparkly eyeshadow
05:14 from before, just to match the top part,
05:16 we're going to put it on the bottom outer half
05:19 of the eye area and really focus it with an angled brush.
05:24 (upbeat music)
05:37 And now I'm taking the same brush from before
05:40 and I'm really blending those two eyeshadow colors together.
05:43 Now I'm taking again the teal eyeshadow from before
05:51 and I put it in the whole inner half of the eye area.
05:54 But honestly, I feel like I should've just put it
05:55 in the middle, just like I did on the top part,
05:58 but to fix this little mix up of mine,
06:02 I took the matte blue eyeshadow from the Sephora collection
06:05 and I sort of focused it on the very outer corners
06:08 of that blue eyeshadow that I had just put in
06:10 to sort of fix that.
06:11 But don't do what I did, just learn from my mistakes,
06:15 put it in the middle.
06:16 All right, so now I'm taking my Sephora eyeliner
06:20 and it's a waterproof eyeliner.
06:22 This was actually my first time using it
06:24 and I gotta tell you, it's really pointy and precise,
06:28 like ouch a little bit, but it's actually really good.
06:32 I was really happy with my purchase.
06:34 (upbeat music)
06:37 a little bit. (upbeat music)
07:06 Now since I wanted this look to be bright and colorful
07:09 as opposed to dark, I did choose to put on
07:13 a nude colored eyeliner instead of a black eyeliner,
07:17 but you can do whatever you want.
07:19 I just feel like this makes the eyes open up a lot more.
07:23 Now I'm taking my eyelash curler and I'm curling my lashes
07:26 and getting them ready for some false eyelashes.
07:29 (upbeat music)
07:36 Now these eyelashes are from Salon Perfect
07:39 and I used the Kiss eyelash glue,
07:42 which is actually really good.
07:44 They're just drugstore lashes that are a little bit more
07:48 on the natural side, that's why I like them.
07:51 And you just put them on like so,
07:54 as close to the lash line as possible.
07:56 You see me there just trying to keep it glued on basically.
08:01 And then I just curl my lashes to blend my lashes
08:04 with the false lashes together.
08:06 And I'm going to go over the eyeliner from before
08:10 to really conceal the false lash glue.
08:13 (upbeat music)
08:17 Now I'm going in with my favorite mascara ever.
08:32 It is called Better Than Sucks.
08:34 And does it live up to its name?
08:36 I don't know, you tell me.
08:38 But I am just wiggling back and forth the mascara wand
08:42 to really make the product go all over the eyelash.
08:44 It's very important.
08:45 And I am blending the two sets of lashes together.
08:49 (upbeat music)
08:53 Now I'm taking my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder
08:56 in Dark Brown and I'm filling in my eyebrows.
09:00 Now I'm a little bit ashamed because my eyebrows
09:02 were not done when I did this video.
09:05 But I'm filling them in anyways and showing them much love
09:09 because once you fill in your eyebrows,
09:12 trust me, you never go back.
09:14 And so I'm just filling them in and then blending it out
09:18 with the spoolie attached to the brush.
09:20 And there's my face again.
09:24 So now I'm taking the Cetaphil Moisturizer
09:27 and I'm putting it all over and I'm drying that out.
09:30 Oh yeah.
09:32 And I'm putting my hair back.
09:33 I'm getting ready to put on the Smashbox Face Primer,
09:36 which is really good and it helps the foundation
09:39 stay all day.
09:40 I'm taking the Josie Maran Foundation.
09:41 It's a really light foundation.
09:43 It's all natural and I love it because it doesn't feel
09:47 like I'm wearing anything.
09:48 And I'm really just blending that out with my fingers,
09:50 clean fingers, mind you.
09:52 And I feel it works better than a brush
09:54 'cause it blends with the foundation and it blends it out.
09:56 So now I'm taking this Cover FX Concealer.
10:00 I believe, yes, it's in golden medium
10:03 and I'm putting it on my, poor little blue limeshoes
10:06 and wherever else I need it.
10:09 And now I'm blending it out with a beauty blender.
10:12 (upbeat music)
10:29 So now I'm taking that same concealer
10:31 on a flat concealer brush and I'm putting it
10:33 under the eye area.
10:35 And I'm really focusing on cleaning up the eye shadow
10:39 because you really wanna focus on getting
10:42 that sharp, clean look.
10:43 Now I'm putting it in between my brows
10:45 and of course down the nose and a little bit
10:48 on the cupid's bow and my chin.
10:50 At the end I feel like a lion or something, I don't know.
10:52 But now I'm taking this cream, really dark shade
10:56 from the Coastal Suns Eclipse palette, I believe, yes.
11:00 And it's gonna be on a foundation brush
11:03 and I'm really just contouring the sides of my face
11:05 and the sides of my nose.
11:07 Now I'm going back in with my handy dandy
11:13 beauty blending sponge and I'm really patting
11:16 in the product instead of just wiping it away
11:19 because that is not what you want.
11:21 You want the product to actually show.
11:23 And I'm going to be doing that on the highlights.
11:26 Now I'm taking the buffing brush
11:27 and I am just buffing the sides of my face
11:30 where I did the contour in order to make it look more natural.
11:33 I don't suggest blending it out as much as I did.
11:36 I feel like I overblended.
11:38 But in order to sort of fix that,
11:40 I did take a concealer brush and made a sort of sharp edge.
11:45 Had a little bit of concealer on it
11:46 and then really made that edge a lot sharper
11:50 so you could really see that contrast
11:53 between the contour and my face, of course.
11:57 And then I blended it out with the beauty blender once more.
12:01 Now I'm gonna take this chocolate powder from Too Faced.
12:06 It tastes, I mean, I would never taste it.
12:09 Okay, so anyways, I am going to be using it
12:13 to really set that contour cream from before
12:17 on the sides of my face.
12:21 And then you're left feeling gorgeous.
12:23 So now I'm gonna be taking this almost finished
12:26 Makeup Forever translucent powder
12:28 and I'm gonna be setting in the highlighted points
12:30 of the face, the ones that I put concealer on before.
12:34 And I'm putting it on a beauty blender
12:37 and I'm just really gonna pack it in
12:39 so the cream does not move at all during the day.
12:41 I'm also going to take some of the chocolate powder
12:44 from before and I'm really gonna set the contour
12:47 that I did on my nose.
12:49 And this is with a fluffy brush, of course.
12:53 Now I'm gonna just pack away all the excess.
12:55 Just tap it away.
12:57 All right, so now we're gonna be getting
13:00 some of that orgasm blush from NARS
13:04 and putting it on like so.
13:07 And of course, the highlight, the highlight of the day
13:11 is going to be the Sunbeam tint,
13:14 which is really gorgeous and it gives a sort of golden shade.
13:17 (upbeat music)
13:20 Now I'm taking this bright pink lipstick shade.
13:26 It's in the color Bellini.
13:27 It's from Bite and I really love the way it contrasts
13:31 with the teal.
13:32 It's what I was going for, but if you're a more type
13:36 of neutral kind of person that you like nude or peach,
13:40 you can put that on instead.
13:42 And I went in with a lip brush to really clean up
13:45 the outer part of it because unfortunately
13:47 I lacked a lip liner, so I really focused on this part
13:50 to make it look cleaner and just overall better.
13:53 Now I'm taking the Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray
13:58 and I'm just spraying it on like so.
14:00 And it's gonna be in a crisscross motion
14:03 and then I'm going to let it dry.
14:05 And that is the finished look.
14:08 So I hope you guys enjoyed it.
14:09 I know I enjoyed making it and I wish you all the best.
14:13 Until next time.
14:15 (upbeat music)
14:18 (upbeat music)
