00:00 Alright, hey guys, it's Brooke and I'm finally going to do my makeup tutorial and you're
00:07 going to see how to do this.
00:10 And this lighting is really bad right now, so.
00:15 I'm going to turn on my makeup light.
00:18 Give me light.
00:20 And it may be a little hard to see.
00:22 Sorry.
00:23 It's better for me because I can't see anything.
00:27 So what you want to do is first just pull back your hair and you want to remove all
00:32 your previous makeup so that's not getting caked on.
00:40 And first step, other than your hair, is hydrating your skin or moisturizing.
00:49 And I just use baby lotion.
00:51 This is, I'm going to just use a makeup sponge, but I just put some of that on my hand and
00:58 you don't want a lot on, especially since it's summer now and I don't usually use foundation
01:04 in summer, but some days I will.
01:07 What?
01:08 What?
01:09 What did I do?
01:10 I'm making a makeup video.
01:21 Oh, I'm sorry.
01:28 Okay.
01:30 I'm editing this part out because I'm just putting on my foundation.
01:38 You always want to go over foundation with powder.
01:44 And the foundation I use is Dream Liquid Mousse by Maybelline New York.
01:48 Sorry, I forgot to add that.
01:50 It's airbrush finish.
01:51 I use nude light 4.
01:57 And then for my powder I'm going to use Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Loose Powder Foundation.
02:06 I don't do contour every single day, but it's always a good look when you want it.
02:20 I usually start with bronzer.
02:26 So what I have is City Colors Contour Effect and there's just three colors.
02:32 I only use the middle one and the highlight because the actual contour color is too dark
02:37 for me.
02:39 So use the bronze and I want to do it right there.
02:50 Do the bronzer on your jawline.
02:56 And at your hairline.
02:57 What I use is a foundation and concealer brush, but I don't do foundation with this type of
03:06 brush.
03:07 I just use this to get a good small brush for my highlight color.
03:13 And highlight color you want right on your cheekbone.
03:19 Then you go back with this brush with the bronzer and you're going to do your nose.
03:33 And now you want to blend that all in.
03:34 And what I just do is I use a powder brush like this.
03:39 It's e.l.f.
03:40 And I just, I never want to brush it because that can mess up the foundation.
03:46 So I just dab it rapidly.
04:02 So next we're going to do your eyes.
04:06 I'm using the color palette Maybelline, New York, Eye Studio, Give Me Gold.
04:19 And so with the first color you want to go all the way to the brow bone.
04:24 I'm going to go in with this third color and I'm using this.
04:36 I don't know what it's actually used for.
04:39 Oh, base shadow brush.
04:42 Huh, guess we figured it out.
04:45 I mix up brushes all the time on purpose because really brushes can do multiple jobs.
04:52 So you're going to get the third color and you want to go in the crease of your eye.
05:00 And this brush does make it come off the crease of your eye too and that's okay because I
05:05 kind of like it like that.
05:08 Okay, great.
05:10 And then you want to do the darkest color just in the corner of your eye.
05:16 Okay, sure, this wouldn't work.
05:18 It's just fat.
05:19 Don't know how this is going to work.
05:22 So you take the last color, which is the darkest color, and you just want that in the corner
05:28 right there.
05:43 You'll want to blend it with the same crease brush you used.
05:52 So the eyeliner I use is Romeo London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer and it's 212 Rich Brown.
06:07 It's just one of these eyeliners.
06:09 So a great way to get a straight line for your eyeliner is to pull your eye.
06:15 So...
06:16 Okay, and now for mascara.
06:21 I learned a great trick from Wayne Goss.
06:24 I will talk more about him at the end of the video.
06:29 This comb is used for your eyelashes after you put on mascara.
06:35 So you just curl your eyelashes like normal.
06:37 You want to get your mascara and I'm using Flawminess Butterfly Intenza by L'Oreal.
06:46 You're just going to comb it right on top of there.
06:52 So it just gets that thin layer of mascara and it's a good base.
07:03 You can't see a big wow effect at first but once you're done it really looks pretty and
07:13 every lash has mascara on it basically.
07:16 You can do this several times, curl again.
07:20 I usually do it about three times and then just do the same thing.
07:24 Apply with either the same mascara or a different mascara.
07:27 Okay, once you're done with that you can just apply mascara regularly since your lashes
07:33 are already separated but be careful about that because it can clump back together.
07:39 And I hope you can see that somehow because it really does give it a "whoosh" effect.
07:48 So with your eyebrows you don't want to go away from your shape.
07:50 You don't want to draw a whole nother eyebrow unless you really want to but I find that
07:56 weird.
07:57 So what I use is Romand London 002 Hazel and it's... you always want to pretty much basically
08:08 sharpen like this.
08:10 First you're just going to brush out your eyebrow.
08:19 And then this stupid light.
08:20 I'm really sorry guys.
08:22 Yep, this isn't working.
08:26 You just want to follow your brow line.
08:30 But I'm just filling in so the eyebrow has a good defined shape.
08:39 I'm going to do blush and what I'm going to use is L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable
08:50 Blush.
08:54 And it's Innocent Flush is the color.
08:57 Use a brush like this.
08:58 Just kidding, you can see that.
08:59 Whatever.
09:00 You just want to go right in between where your contour and highlight was.
09:07 And you can blend that in.
09:11 And to finish it off I just use NYX Butter Gloss.
09:21 This color is Apple Strudel and I don't know, I just like it.
09:28 I love NYX for any lip stuff but as you can tell the most products I used like brands
09:35 were Maybelline, L'Oreal and I always laugh at the Instagram makeup tutorials like how
09:44 to put on lip gloss and it just zooms in on their lips.
09:49 Like I'm pretty dang sure people know how to put on lip gloss.
09:56 If you don't, well go watch those videos.
10:00 Okay so there is your makeup.
10:03 Looks really natural.
10:04 I really like it.
10:06 There is your finished project.
10:08 I will go into my window so you can see lighting better because this light is terrible obviously.
10:15 But Wayne Goss, he has 2 million subscribers.
10:24 He is amazing.
10:25 He knows all the tips and tricks and he's just really great.
10:31 And I'll link one of his videos so you can look in my activity and find him easily.
10:36 And you really should go watch those videos.
10:40 He has anything you're looking for.
10:46 Okay there is the finished project.
10:54 Right here I did this too dark.
10:56 Beware of that.
10:57 I can fix it though.
10:59 And if you ever change your lighting, you go in a different lighting and you find mistakes,
11:06 like that, and it usually fixes them.
11:12 So I just want to thank you guys for watching.
11:15 I hope you liked it.
11:16 I know a lot of you have been waiting for this.
11:19 And I think I get my new computer on my birthday, hopefully, which is on June 14th.
11:29 Wish me happy birthday to get noticed.
11:32 So look up Wayne Goss.
11:35 Like and subscribe.
