00:00 It's almost time for Halloween, but I know some of you don't want to go all out and get
00:05 dressed up, so here's a subtle look to celebrate the season inspired by the wings of an otherworldly
00:11 fairy.
00:12 Let's get started.
00:17 First I'm going to hydrate my skin with a Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer.
00:20 This stuff is super rich and perfect if you have dry skin.
00:24 For my foundation, I'm taking my EcoTools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush and buffing in
00:28 my Cargo Liquid Foundation.
00:32 Now I'm going in with my Maybelline Concealer, and for this look, highlighting is key, so
00:37 I'm going to apply a little more heavily than usual.
00:40 Then I'm just going to go back in with the same buffing brush and blend this all out.
00:52 Now I'm moving on to one of my favorite blush colors from Tarte, it's called Doll Face,
01:06 and I'm taking the blush brush from my starter set, and I'm just going to dust that bright
01:10 pink all over my cheeks.
01:12 I'm applying a little more than usual, you guys know I typically take it pretty easy
01:16 on the blush.
01:21 Now for the highlight, I'm using my EcoTools Multitasking Face Brush, and I'm going to
01:25 apply that Too Faced Candlelight Glow, and again, I'm applying this pretty heavily.
01:30 This stuff is one of the most gorgeous highlight products I've ever seen.
01:33 It's perfect if you're going for a fairy or an angel type look.
01:45 Now on to the eyes.
01:46 I've got one eye done, and I'm applying my Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper to really keep
01:50 those eyeshadows in place.
01:53 And for this look, I'm going to use my Lorac Pro 2 Palette.
01:56 So I'm going back to my starter set and grabbing the shadow brush, and I'm going to apply rosé
02:01 all over my lids, and I'm actually going to apply this all the way up to the outer part
02:05 of my brow bone as well.
02:09 Next I'm going to use Cool Gray, and I'm applying this with my Airbrush Concealer Brush, focusing
02:14 first at the center of my crease, then working my way out and blending it out into sort of
02:19 a subtle wing shape.
02:27 And now using that angled eyeliner brush from the starter set, I'm going to go back in with
02:31 Cool Gray and just refine that shape, sort of creating a cut crease look and connecting
02:35 it with the outer corner of my eye.
02:42 And now to blend, I'm taking Nectar and just blending up that gray shade for a more seamless
02:47 look.
02:50 Okay, back to that angled liner brush, I'm going to dip into Coco just to intensify the
02:58 shape of the wing.
02:59 So I'm going to focus this color just at the base of that wing shape.
03:03 All right, now I'm moving on to Plum, and I'm going to spray this wet because it's going
03:10 on my bottom lash line.
03:11 This way the color will show up more vibrantly and it won't fall onto my cheeks.
03:15 And you'll see that I'm also creating another mini wing on the bottom, nothing too big.
03:21 And now going back in with that shadow brush, I'm dipping into Chrome, and I'm going to
03:25 use this to blend down that plum color, being careful not to blur out the wing too much.
03:30 And then with the same brush, I'm going into Silver and using that just to highlight the
03:34 inner half of my bottom lash line.
03:36 Okay, it's time for lashes.
03:39 I'm applying both top and bottom falsies, but first I'm going to apply mascara to the
03:43 top and bottom lashes.
03:45 And for bottom lashes, you always want to apply with a pair of tweezers just to get
03:50 the most precise placement possible.
03:53 And for the top lashes, I just lower them onto my lash line with my eyes open.
04:02 And finally for the lips, first I'm going to apply a nude and slightly frosty lipstick,
04:08 and then I'm going to go over it with a nude gloss that's got just a hint of shimmer to
04:12 it for that extra sparkle.
04:16 And there it is.
04:17 This fairy inspired look is great for anyone who wants to add a little pizzazz to their
04:21 makeup routine for the Halloween season without going all out.
