Philippine Coast Guard welcomes its biggest ship
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), welcomed MRRV-9701 in Port Area, Manila on Saturday, Feb. 26. It is the PCG’s largest ship to date and the newest addition to their fleet.
The Multi-Role Response Vessel (MRRV) was built in Japan and will be used by the PCG in their operations. Once commissioned, it will carry the name “Barko ng Republika ng Pilipinas (BRP) Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701).
