Ingredients:-
1 cup Chickpeas, split (soaked)
1/2 cup Black Lentil, split (soaked)
2 Green Chillies, chopped
6-7 Curry Leaves
1/2 tsp Ginger, chopped
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander seeds powder
1 tsp Fennel seeds
1 Onion, chopped
2 tbsp Rice Flour
Oil for greasing
Method:-
Keep aside 2 tbsp split chickpea, 1 tbsp black lentil to use later.
Grind rest of the chickpea and black lentil coarse.
Mix them together, add green chillies, curry leaves, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds, onion, rice flour and the chickpea and black lentil that we had keep aside.
Add salt and mix them well.
Grease your palm with oil, take the small portion and make patti's.
Heat oil in a vessel, fry the vada on both sides on medium flame.
Our Crispy Dal Vada's are ready.
