Hey, today I want to share with you some ideas on how to sale a product online, and give you a few knew ways of looking at things.
When it comes to affiliate marketing there are 2 sides to the coin. There are people that promote other people's products and there are people who create products and try to get other people to promote them.
It's easier to sale other people's products because you don't have to create the product, the sales copy, the testimonials and the sales funnel.
You make more money when you create a product because you can have other people promote it, that product becomes an asset for you as long as it is evergreen, you get a list of people interested in your niche and you get a list of people who are affiliate marketers that you can sale more of your products if you create them.
I just want to stick to selling other people's product because most likely this is why you are here, to learn more ideas on how to do this.
One tip if you are selling someone's else's product is to do a pre-sale video. This lends your confidence to whatever you are selling gives people even more assurance.
I got this idea from a great book called “Pre-Selling.” It's good to get people in the buying mood and expecting to buy before they even hit the sales copy.
What you don't want to do is trick people. Reminds of the story of my going out to eat with my friend and then my friends drives over to a Howard Johnson and the next thing I know I'm at an MLM pitch.
If you used the product that is even better and you can talk about your experience using the product. If you have not used the product that is ok as well and you can still sale it of course.
Another tip if you sale someone's else product is you can have a big ass guarantee. I've heard of this idea in the past when I did phone sales, but I heard about it again because my mentor Michael Chenney used it in his sales letter for one of his products.
Not only will he give you your money back if you don't like it, but if you use the product and don't see results he will pay you money.
Again, everything comes down to confidence, nobody wants to get scammed or tricked right? The more assurance you can give someone, the more likely they might give your product a try right?
This also goes back to Gary Vaynerchuk's book called “jab, jab, jab left hook.” The idea behind the book is that you start by giving. You give, give, give and then you ask.
When you give you build up this social equity, so people begin to trust you. You then can leverage that trust when recommending products and service to people.
