Hey, wutz going.

I've been playing guitar for like maybe 5 years, so I've thought about picking up the piano and I discovered some really interesting things that I wanted to share with you.

The first thing is there is a lot of health benefits to learning the piano. Memory can get improved, preventing Dementia, Alzheimers, which makes sense because it's really a workout for your brain and your fingers.

Studies show that learning the piano can improve your mood and prevent stress and anxiety. That is super important nowadays, with all the crazy stuff going on.

What is really interesting is the brain of musicians studies show is different than the brain of non-musicians. There are stronger connections.

Another interesting thing I discovered was learning the piano can help someone play their guitar faster according to Shawn Lan who is a guitar virtuoso. This did surprise me, but it makes sense.

A guitar virtuoso is someone who plays VERY well like Joe Satriani.

A big reason I thought about getting into the piano is because with the guitar you can play MANY songs with just a few chords.

With the Piano, you can experiment with so much more and really expand on your musical experience and it's all laid out visually.

Plus, if you ever wanted to get into music theory learning the piano can help. If you're not sure what music theory is You could say it's why things sound good. You could compare it to instead of driving a car opening up the hood and seeing how it works.

A fifth reason is because you can play several notes at the same time. For many other instruments you can only play 1 note at a time and you need other people to play other notes.

There really are many other reasons to pick up the piano and I wrote about this in more detail in a blog post you can check out by clicking on the link below or going to trustthelink.com.

I hope this video or podcast gave you some ideas and was helpful. Bye for now.
