Ingredients For Garam Masala :
3 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds
1/2 tsp Cloves
6 Green Cardamom (Seeds)
1/2 tsp Pepper Corns
1 Bay Leaf
Method :
Add all these ingredients in a pan.
Dry roast it till they leave nice aroma.
Grind the masala into a fine powder.
Tomato Onion paste ingredients:
2 tbsp Oil
4 finely chopped Onions
4 finely chopped Tomatoes
Method for Tomato Onion paste :
In a Kadai, add 2 tbsp oil.
Once the oil heats up, add the chopped onions and saute it till it becomes translucent.
Once the Onions are soft, add the chopped tomatoes and cook it will its mushy.
Once the onions and tomatoes are soft, shut the flame and let it cool.
Transfer these into a grinder and grind it into a fine paste.
Gravy Ingredients :
1 tbsp Ghee
1 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1 tsp garlic Paste
1 Capsicum (Diced)
1 Onion (Diced)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
2 cups Water
Salt to Taste
1/2 Cup Fresh Cream
1 kg Paneer
Gravy Method :
In a pan add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp Ghee
Once it's hot add 1 tsp Ginger and 1 tsp Garlic and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
Once, the ginger garlic is cooked, add 1 capsicum and 1 Onion.
Saute it till it gets soft and cooked.
After it's cooked, add the Onion Tomato Paste and let it cook for 2-3 mins
Add 1/2 tsp turmeric,
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Garam Masala
Mix everything together.
Add 2 cups of Water and Salt to taste
Give it a Stir and cook it till the Capsicum are cooked.
Lower the flame and Add 1/2 Cup Cream, Mix well and let it boil for 3-4 min.
Add 1 kg Paneer Cubes and mix it gently
Cover and cook for more 2-3 mins
Your Kadai Paneer is ready to be served, you can have it with Kulcha and Naan.
