Dhaba style paneer is a spicy paneer recipe, inspired by the food served at Dhabas, the iconic roadside eateries of India. Creamy and tasty, this dish is an absolute treat for your taste buds.
Ingredients
200g paneer, cubed
2 green chillies,roughly chopped
Onion paste (1 onion, 5 garlic cloves, 1 inch piece of ginger ground to paste)
1 tsp coriander-cumin seed powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
3 raw tomatoes, pureed
1 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp oil

Method
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add 2 green chillies, onion paste and cook until the paste turns brown.
Add 1 tsp coriander and cumin seed powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp kasoori methi, coriander leaves, tomato puree and cook it on slow flame until it is dried nicely.
Add 1 tbsp of cream and mix it well.
Add 1 cup paneer, some water, salt as required, give it a mix and allow it to cook for 2 mins.
Garnish it with some coriander leaves and 1 cube of butter
