With that in mind, Massachusetts' Sudbury Police Department is asking people to transport their holiday picks responsibly.
The department recently reported via Facebook that it had to pull one driver over for hauling a tree that was so huge it nearly covered the van it was tethered to.
General guidelines include making sure the windows, and particularly the front windshield, remain unobstructed.
Also, if lifting the tree onto the vehicle requires several people, a crane, or a superhero, as this one likely did, one may want to consider renting an appropriately-sized truck.
It remains unclear if the driver was cited, notes WHDH.
