President Trump tweeted Friday that "few, if any" administrations have accomplished more than his administration in "just 7 months."
President Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to tout his administration's accomplishments.
"Few, if any, Administrations have done more in just 7 months than the Trump A," Trump wrote. "Bills passed, regulations killed, border, military, ISIS, SC!"
This follows a similar claim he made during a rally in Phoenix when he lauded his first “six or seven months” in the high office as the most successful in history.
“Washington is full of people who are only looking out for themselves," Trump told the crowd. "But I don't come to Washington for me. I have had a great life. I’ve had great success. I have enjoyed my life. Most people think I’m crazy to have done this. And I think they’re right.”
Trump continued, “But I enjoy it, because we've made so much. I don't believe that any president...has accomplished as much as this president in the first six or seven months. I really don't believe it."
In an early August analysis of the promises Trump made and how many he’s kept thus far, the BBC reports that the president’s key campaign agendas remain unresolved.
Illegal immigration-related resolutions such as building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and increasing deportations have yet to be realized. Health care reform, and repealing Obamacare in particular, has, despite a number of efforts, fallen flat.
According to the BBC, the economy is improving, but remains on the trajectory it was during the Obama administration.
