Lucky Texan (John Wayne)

1934 directed by Robert N. Bradbury starring John Wayne, Barbara Sheldon, Lloyd Whitlock, George “Gabby” Hayes, Yakima Canutt, Earl Dwire, Eddie Parker and Gordon de Main. When the Duke and his buddy, Gabby, bring their hard-won gold to the local mining office to have it assayed, the evil, seedy assayers trail the two back to their mine, shoot the Goodly Gabby and get it blamed on the Duke.
