APJ Abdul Kalam, who served as India’s president from 2002 to 2007, passed away on Monday.

APJ Abdul Kalam, who served as India’s president from 2002 to 2007, passed away on Monday.
He was 83 years old.
President Kalam collapsed while giving a lecture at Shillong’s Indian Institute of Management and was rushed to a hospital. 
He arrived at the facility at roughly 7pm local time, showing no signs of life. 
Revival attempts were made, but sadly were unsuccessful.
