On the occasion of Gudhi Padwa, our chef Archana brings to you the simple recipe of Naralachi Wadi which is a popular Maharashtrian dessert. Naralachi Wadi or Coconut Barfi is an amazing mouth watering delicious chewy sweet which is very quick & easy to make at home with limited ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Grated Coconut
3/4th Cup Sugar
3 tbsp Cream (Malai)
1/2 Cup Milk
1 tsp Elaichi Powder
Cashews & Almonds chopped
Ghee

साहित्य:

१ कप किसलेला नारळ
३/४ कप साखर
३ मलई
१/२ कप दूध
१ वेलची पावडर
काजू
बदाम
तूप

Method:

- In a pan, add grated coconut, sugar, cream & milk. Mix all the ingredients on a low flame to form a soft dough.
- Add elaichi powder and mix well.
- Once the dough is formed, take the mixture off the flame.
- Grease a flat surface with little ghee & spread the mixture to cool completely.
- Garnish the mixture with almonds & cashews.
- Once the mixture cools, cut medium size pieces.
- Coconut Barfi is ready.
