Learn how to make Coconut Ladoo or Nariyal Ladoo, a Teej special recipe with Chef Varun Inamdar on Rajshri Food.

Coconut Ladoo is a simple and delicious Indian dessert recipe. Made with grated coconut, milkmaid, dry fruits and mawa, this is an easier version of the traditional recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup Grated coconut
2 tbsp Ghee
1 cup Milkmaid
10-12 Almonds
6-8 Cashews
2 tbsp Raisins
1/2 cup Mawa
1 tsp Green cardamom
Generous pinch of saffron

Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a pan, add coconut, stir it occasionally for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
Add dry fruits to the coconut, give it a light mix.
Add mawa, milkmaid, give it a good mix.
Add saffron, green cardamom and keep stirring it.
Once you see it leaving the sides, add raisins, ghee, give it a mix. Transfer it to a container and let it cool down.
Take a spoonful of the mixture and roll them into ladoos.
