McDonald’s executives in Japan have apologized to those who found foreign objects in their food, and assured the public that they are committed to resolving the issue.

The items discovered by surprised customers include bits of plastic and a tooth.

They were found in a variety of menu items including fries, a sundae, and some Chicken McNuggets.

McDonald’s officials say the incidents were isolated and that each is being looked into.

Thus far they’ve been unable to determine where a couple of the rogue tidbits originated.

In the case of the fries in which a tooth was found they determined that none of their workers had lost one and the tooth itself hadn’t been through a fryer.

A plastic piece found in an order of McNuggets couldn’t be traced, either.

Not all of their investigations were inconclusive.

The source of a synthetic shard found in a sundae was tracked back to in-store freezing equipment. It has since been taken out of use.

A separate McNugget incident inquiry presented the possibility that the inclusion got into the food at the factory.

Despite the reports, a restaurant chain executive said he still believes in the product and would feed it to his own children.
