Gotta make 2015 a better year than 2014 for our wild neighbors on the planet.
International laws have been on the books for many years to secure elephant survival, yet these last few years were tragic for them. Demand for carved ivory trinkets is greater than ever, jacking the price of ivory sky high.
Ivory sales are so lucrative, terrorist organizations are killing elephants to fund their people-killing weapons with poached ivory.
Whales, big cats and other wildlife are fairing a bit better for not bearing precious ivory.
However, the other explosive pressures toward extinction of the wild by growing human population needs are mounting.
Every new year that goes by counts less and less wildlife.
