Jennifer Lawrence recently broke her silence about the hacking and publishing of her nude photos and shared her feelings with Vanity Fair.

At the end of August hackers obtained nude photos of several celebrities and made them available to the public via the Internet.

Jennifer Lawrence, one of the targets of the cyber pirates, recently broke her silence on the matter and shared her feelings with Vanity Fair.

The actress said that she initially feared what may happen to her career.

She also revealed that shortly after the incident she began to draft a public statement but without much success.

Lawrence told one of the magazine’s contributing editors, “every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years.”

In the interview she made it clear that she doesn’t consider the theft and posting of her personal photos a scandal. To her it’s a ‘sex crime’.

Lawrence had some words for the images’ viewers as well, saying, “Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame.”

The article is available in the November issue of ‘Vanity Fair’.
