Police in Broward County, Florida are asking for help in identifying a pair of unprofessional beer thieves. Surveillance footage captured the two men inside an Oakland Park convenience store.

They approached the coolers and snatched six 12-packs of beer. Once their hands were full, the men went up to the register, making it appear as though they planned on paying for the alcohol, however they soon bolted towards the door.

Given that they were carrying a large, heavy load, the males weren’t able to get away quickly or gracefully. One of the suspects who was wearing a white t-shirt tried to barge the door with his body but to his surprise it didn’t open.

He slipped a bit on a mat and tried using his back to push the door, but still it wouldn’t budge. At that point, he dropped the beer and gave it a forceful kick. The door finally opened so his buddy in black ran out while the male in white retrieved the cases and also made a getaway.

The clumsiness didn’t end outdoors however. The crooks continued to fall and drop the stolen beer in the lot. Somehow the duo got away in a 1996 Honda with a Florida plate.

The incident occurred on September 22nd. A 3 thousand dollar reward has been put up by Crime Stoppers for tips that lead to an arrest.
