Police in New York City are trying to identify and locate two suspects who allegedly robbed a Planet Fitness gym.
Police in New York City are trying to identify and locate two suspects who allegedly robbed a Planet Fitness gym. The crime occurred a little before midnight on September 16th.
Both men were wearing masks when they walked into the business. One of the males, who was armed with a gun, jumped over the counter and cornered the female staffer.
The men demanded she open up the two registers. She complied and the male behind the counter removed all the cash. He then handed it over to his accomplice who placed the money into a bag.
Once the duo had what they wanted, they fled the Manhattan gym. Both suspects were wearing Halloween-style masks and white gloves at the time of the robbery.
One man was donning a Brewers baseball jersey with Fielder’s name on the back. The other wore a black hoodie and jeans.
Many members of the gym are left feeling uneasy about the robbery, and one expressed surprise that the facility would be a target as there probably wasn’t much cash.
