Recipe to prepare "Gobhi Korma":
Ingredients:
1. cumin seed - 1 tea spoon
2. coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
3. red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon
4. turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon
5. seasoning (garam masala) - 1 tea spoon
6. garlic - 10 cloves
7. green chilly - 1
8. onion - 2 medium bulblets
9. cooking oil - 1-1/2 table spoons
10. cauliflower - 300 grams
11. baby potatoes - 10
12. ginger - 1 inch
13. tomatoes - 2 medium size
14. salt - 1-1/2 tea spoon
15. crushed dry fenugreek (kasoori methi) - 1 tea spoon
16. water - 2 medium bowls
17. coriander leaves - 3 stalks
Procedure:
1. make a paste of the following ingredients:
a. 1 tea spoon cumin seed
b. 1 tea spoon coriander powder
c. 1 tea spoon red chilli powder
d. 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
e. 1 tea spoon seasoning (garam masala)
f. 10 garlic cloves (peeled)
g. 1 inch ginger (chopped)
h. 1 green chilly
i. 1 medium bulblet onion (chopped)
2. heat 1-1/2 table spoon cooking oil in a cooker
3. fry chopped onion (1 medium bulblet) until brown
4. add to it the paste (prepared initially)
5. stir, and allow it to cook for a while
6. add 1 medium bowl water, and stir
7. add 10 baby potatoes (peeled)
8. mix them well with the gravy, and cook for atleast 2 minutes
9. add chopped tomatoes (2 medium size), and mix
10. add 1-1/2 tea spoon salt
11. add 300 grams cauliflower (big florets)
12. mix the florets, and allow to cook for 2 minutes
13. add 1 tea spoon crushed dry fenugreek (kasoori methi)
14. add 1 medium bowl water, and stir
15. cover the cooker until one whistle
16. uncover, and garnish the korma with coriander leaves (3 stalks)
