Sure, elderly folks might complain about the aches and pains that come with getting older, however Dorothy Finerty who will turn a century old this month, proves that age really means nothing when it comes to living your dream. She recently tossed out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium.

On Wednesday, she got to toss out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium. The tiny woman got across the field with help from a walker.
Instead of gracing the pitcher’s mound, she stationed herself a lot closer to the catcher. Rather impressively, she tossed an overhand throw right to him. The ball, which was in the strike zone, landed straight in his glove.
Reportedly Dorothy, who goes by Dot practiced for a month to get her throwing arm in top shape. Her 65-year-old son, Tom arranged for her to toss out the pitch.
When Dot, who was born in Brooklyn and moved to LA almost 20 years before the Dodgers, was asked what she wanted for her birthday, she told him she wanted ‘to throw out the first pitch.’
Tom remarked “She an inspiration and doesn't know it. Her normal way is to deflect attention, so this 100th birthday is a chance for us to really pour on the attention and show her what she means to us.”
