A woman in Wisconsin is overjoyed to have a long lost wedding ring back. Her dog is responsible for vomiting up the beloved piece of jewelry.

Lois Matykowski lost her wedding ring about 5 years ago. Back then, she checked the yard, the house, the car and even her pooch, Tucker’s poop for a few weeks, but eventually Matykowski came to the conclusion her ring was gone forever.

She commented “My husband and I had been married for 20 years at that time. We had just upgraded the ring, and it wasn’t insured. And it wasn't just the value, but also the emotional ties.”

However earlier this month, the ring made a surprise appearance. Matykowski and her granddaughter had been eating popsicles outside when 10-year-old Tucker, aka ‘the food burglar’ managed to snatch one of the frozen treats.

Shortly after that, he threw up the popsicle stick. Two days after swallowing the popsicle whole, Tucker began vomiting yet again.

While cleaning up the mess, Matykowski was shocked to see her ring mixed up with his stomach contents. Tucker’s vet believes the popsicle stick helped to dislodge the ring.

As for Matykowski, she’s absolutely thrilled to have the ring back and says she doesn’t even care Tucker vomited on the carpet.
