A woman in Los Angeles is lucky to be alive after her vehicle was left dangling over a parking garage. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the bizarre incident was reported at about 9:30 in the morning.
"A precarious situation, this is near MacArthur Park. Looks at this, beacause a car, you see it right there, was hanging off the fourth floor of a parking structure." [Via KCAL]
The front end of the vehicle was left teetering outside, while the rear fortunately remained planted on the floor of the garage.
Reports indicate the female driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes and jumped the curb. Fortunately, the cable barricade stopped her car just in time to prevent it from going completely over the edge.
Fire crews were able to pull the woman out to safety. Fortunately she was uninjured. They successfully pulled the vehicle back into the garage.
