Mariah Carey recently experienced the Manhattan subway. The uber famous singer was decked out in a glittery ball gown making her really stand out among the crowd.
Spotting a famous personality on a Manhattan subway is probably not that big of a deal. But there are certain celebrities, you wouldn't expect to see.
Among them is Mariah Carey who recently took a little ride on a Manhattan subway. Even if she had been dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt, the sight would have been a little unexpected, but the uber famous singer was decked out in a glittery ball gown making her really stand out among the crowd.
In addition to the cleavage bearing, floor length gown with a thigh high slit, Carey also donned a pair of cut-off elegant gloves and sunglasses.
Photos released on social media show Carey sitting on one of the public seats and it must be said, she looks out of her element.
Aside from that, she took it in stride and showcased a big, beautiful smile to symbolize she was making the best out of sampling ordinary life. An Instagram caption notes “Glimpses of our joyride on the 1 train.”
The night began with Carey hosting the Fresh Air Fund’s 2014 Spring Benefit gala at Chelsea Piers. After the event, she decided to have a little fun.
Just before hopping onboard the train, she waltzed out of a yellow cab, crossed the street and carefully descended the subway steps all while wearing some scarily high heels.
