How far would you really go to prove your love for KFC? The company's YouTube channel now features footage of a male who professed his love for the chain’s ‘Double Down’ sandwich by getting a tattoo.

The man, whose identity was not released, said his passion for the menu item started when he went on a date with his girlfriend and took her to get one. At that time, the sandwiches were relatively new to the menu.

The diehard KFC fan turned to artist Adam Potts to have to have a tattoo of the ‘Double Down’ permanently inked on the back of his calf. Potts knew it wasn’t going to be an easy job.

While trying to envision the tat, he remarked ‘with it being chicken, bacon, cheese, and the sauce.. There's a lot of browns and yellows in it’. Potts did admit however that being a Ketucky-based artist, he’s done plenty of work for customers who wanted the Colonel’s face on their own bodies.

As for the ‘Double Down’ lover, his tattoo is done, showcasing the sandwich, complete with bun, cheese, bacon and meat. It also includes an accompanying ribbon with the words ‘Double Down’ and the Colonel’s face planted in the middle of the artwork.
