Harbord drank all day before visiting the Black Bull pub with friends in Old Shotton, UK. The buddies were having a grand old time.
At one point they suggested scheduling adult entertainment later in the evening. Right around then, the on duty female cop arrived at the bar after complaints came in regarding Harbord’s group who were getting overly rowdy.
When the officer walked in the pub, Harbord brought attention to her by announcing she was one of the strippers. That’s also when he reportedly flicked a towel in her face.
He was swiftly placed in cuffs, charged with obstructing a police officer. In court, Harbord’s lawyer stated “His friends have had a good laugh at him but he realizes how serious it is. It was an honest and genuine mistake.”
He was ordered to pay a fine and sentenced to a six-month conditional discharge.
