The German shipbuilding company known as Blohm+Voss announced a partnership with the world renowned architect Zaha Hadid to create a mind blowing super yacht.
The master prototype concept is a 128 meter, stunning watercraft that was unveiled at a private viewing in Mayfair’s David Gill Gallery. The boat is extremely long, with a twisted glass design on the top, giving sneak peak of the interior décor.
Those who are onboard the yacht will be able to take in ocean vistas from virtually any spot inside. The prototype is the inspiration for a family of five upcoming individual 90 meter boats called the Unique Circle Yachts.
It is described as an exoskeleton structure that differs from most yachts thanks to the webbed appearance and the diagonal deck connection.
Hadid stated “The design of a yacht must incorporate additional parameters beyond those for architecture which all become much more extreme on water. Each yacht is an engineered platform that integrates specific hydrodynamic and structural demands.”
