Woman Trapped in Bus Luggage Compartment Sparks Investigation

An internal investigation has been launched by Bus Éireann to determine how a middle aged woman got trapped inside a baggage hold and traveled 15 miles locked in there before being discovered.
Next time, be careful while opening the baggage hold of a bus.
In a recent report, a middle aged woman got trapped inside the baggage enclosure and traveled approximately 15 miles locked in there before being discovered.
The lady had been venturing to her home in a small village in Ireland. She attempted to retrieve her bag from the luggage compartment upon arrival in her home village.
However she couldn’t reach it, so the lady climbed in the enclosed area to get a better grasp. It is currently presumed that she fainted while inside of the compartment.
The bus driver continued on his route, oblivious that the woman was locked inside the luggage hold. She was not found until the bus was 15 miles away from her intended destination.
A friend of the unidentified woman stated “I can’t believe something like this could happen. She doesn’t want to make a big deal about it and I don’t if it’s because she’s embarrassed or just isn’t bothered by it but I know she was very frightened by the whole thing.”
